"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I'm going to go against many of the recommendations in this thread. If your baseline looks do not meet a woman's minimum requirement, no amount of personality will win her over.

Diametrically, many guys with looks organically develop their personalities based on the numerous options they are already surrounded by and forced to interact with, certainly not due to their willful efforts.

Richard, although lacking (and should be improving his) social acumen, should focus primarily on his presentation--his looks ... for now. And he is.

Good job Richard.
I honestly think that this car will cause more people to talk to me than any amount of time in the gym, etc. But I'll attack it from all angles.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Wardrobe consultant just texted me to wish me a happy belated birthday.

She wants it. And she doesn't even know it's bionic.

Right behind you
Also, it became obvious that if you're going to connect with a girl, you need to be able to relate to her outside of her false front she puts on in order to socialize and go to her job, etc.
Very acute observation.

I actually think you are improving without realizing it to be honest. You have NEVER made observations like this one or the language one before (or at least never talked about it) on here. Much less notice that it’s about connecting with women on a different level than the facade they put up. That’s one of the premises of it. There’s others too, but it’s not worth getting into about.

Great job on the look!

Start working on that inner game.

Start small, start small conversations with clerks, cashiers, and other employees at buildings. They are paid to be courteous, so it is a no-risk zone essentially. If you accidentally slip up, they will walk away and come at you unless they want to risk losing their jobs.

Aim for 1-2 minute convos, at least 1 per day, aim for 3...

Do this for a couple weeks and you will notice you begin to create convos with random people as well.

Provide updates as you report back!

And STOP PAYING WOMEN!

What do you think about dying my hair blonde?
I guess you're asking this in regard to thinning hair, but I don't have any experience with that. No one else took a stab at answering this question though, so I'll put my two cents in:

I do think that you could probably pull off a dyed blonde look.
But know that statistically, women prefer men with dark hair.
Also, a lot of women see dying or fussing with hair as a feminine thing, so I'd say you're better off leaving it.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Does that include styling it?
Generally speaking, I think women see like a Marine type crew cut as the height of masculinity, in that the guy gets up, washes his hair, it doesn't require much care, and he gets on with his day, doing more important man things. As opposed to a woman, who spends time on her hair, sits two or three hours in a salon, brushes, conditions, styles, etc. I think that's optimum masculinity as far as hair goes for women.

I've heard women not like a guy's hair just because it had product in it, they don't understand why a guy would fuss with his hair so much.

On the other hand, a woman might see a guy's long hair (which obviously requires a lot of care) and be jealous that he has prettier hair than they do - and be very attracted to him. Bottom line, every woman is different, and there are very few absolutes. So ultimately, you have to do do what you want to do.

Well I hear conflicting things.

I know that what I have isn't working.

I kind of agree that it's girly to spend so much time on your hair, but I'm just trying to find what works for me.
