Veterans - give advice for girl at work

So where I work there is a girl that comes in and one time I helped her solve a problem after that we sorta got more friendly towards each other. No kino nothing but just smile more when we talk and she laughs at my jokes

So this time she comes in and I tell her that there is promotion going on and after a certain number of purchases she will get an item free, she was like okay sign me up. So I asked for her name and phone number. After writing her number I was like "that's the second easiest number I've ever gotten" she started laughing and I laughed with her. Then she went her merry way.

Now I will not be texting her or anything cuz that's just weird but how do you think I should play my next move ? I mean I know her name now and she's a 7.3.

I don't work there regularly so don't know when would I see her but I definitely know she'd remember me.

So next time I see what should I do or act or what not?

Exactly! If she's not attracted to you, and you know, it is quite possible she's just a smiley, social girl, who's usually not rude to people who work at stores, you will come off as creepy doing the ver same things girl find charming when done by a dude their into. Don't use a number gotten under those situations, specially when you can take advantage to do it even better by just asking her to get together with you.

The best way here, as I see it, is next time you see her, invite her to get together with you. "You seem like somebody happy and positive to spend time with, let's get together soon...blah, blah, blah", don't say "blah, blah, blah" though.

Getting a phone number should just be a formality and a form of contact once it has been established that there is interest to meet up or taking things further, nothing more, nothing less. Notice how phone numbers always come easiest when it is always obvious where things need to go, as opposed to getting a phone number and working towards all the logistics of a pick up.

Getting rejected feels a lot better and makes it a lot easier to move on and get over a chick than to just keep wondering.
