"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

This is ver hard to explain as is the situation, so from those of you who can understand and/or have had similar situations i would appreciate opionions ideas or anything.

21 one year old girl living with her parents, had a carefew to be back home by 11 pm, had only had one boyfriend in her life... actually they started being bf/gf when she was 16 so they were going to their 5th year together. Parents were so strict that they only accepted the guy after their second year of being bf/gf, until their second year was she allowed to go out with him only during the day. BUT after that the parents started to love this guy, specialy the mom, he promised to buy her a house when he would get married with the girl. Shortly after the two years the guy cheated with this other girl who claimed publicly that she was pregnant with his child, but the parents didnt care and adviced their daughter not to leave him that he had made a mistake and that anyway he was a good guy... she actually broke with him for 3 months but after that they got back together.

When i was in high school i used to see her sometimes and always tought she was very pretty, actually gorgeous. But i didnt knew her just knew she had a bf, anyway i never bothered to hit on her or anything.

Then 2 years later i saw her in college, said hi to her, talked a bit to her and i got her number without permission ( i asked a mutual friend for it). I called her one day, she was surprised but tought i would be a nice friend to talk to since she didnt have nobody to talk to and she was feeling down because she was suspecting that her 4 year bf was cheating on her again. So we became friends for like several months, good friends... just that. We flirted sometimes but it never meant anything, but she knew i tought she was very pretty and all. Then one day we had a conversation about the chemestry we had for one onother and that if both of us didnt had a bf/gf we would of been a good couple. ( i had a gf at the moment too.) So after a short amount of time i ended my ltr with my gf at that time, and started flirting heavily with the girl i was friends with so after knowing that i liked her and that i didnt had a gf anymore she left her bf too and weeks later we started going out and became bf/gf ourselves.

Now... to our surprise her parents hated me, oviously they tought she was gonna get married with the other guy whom they liked alot, added to that now she had a ex boyfriend who started to stalk her. (follow her) and started also to thread me (not in person but sending other people to the place i work at). I actually wanted the guy to go show up personally to kick his @ss but he never did. She was not comfortable with her parents not liking me and her mom inventing rumors about me for her to leave me. So after 1 month i ended up everything agreeing with her that it was not the time. We stayed friends, actually we still went out a couple of times, (without anybody knowing) we spent a night together but she wasnt comfortable doing all of this because she was a ''good girl'' and i didnt like it for the reason that i wanted to date (never told her that) other girls i wanted to do things without having to hide and more often than just twice a month. So we agreed to stop doing all of that and loose the contact with eachother, she cried and even tough she agreed that it was better like that she started using the L word and how much she felt that for me and that she was never was going to forget me and all that stuff, according to her she wanted to be with me but wanted her mom to accept us, and wanted approval from her parents to be my gf.... BUT AT THIS MOMENT, HER MOM IS FIGHTING CANCER, and i dont like this as an excuse but i understand a mother is more important than a relationship with a bf. She has never used this as an excuse but i assume this has a great influence on her decisions. Iam ok not being with her, actually iam dating and going out with other girls since we agreed to loose contact, but theres on thing that its there at the back of my mind, before ending everything she asked me if i would give her a chance in the future if she asked for it, i repied that i didnt know that i couldnt tell what was gonna happen or if i was already going to be with somebody else. She also signs in on her msn with messages like ''iam never gonna forget you and iam alway gonna love you''. So i ask myself some questions like, if she loves me that much as she says why didnt she care less if her parents didnt like me? Or, why was she so uncomfortable when we were seeing eachother secretly?

What do you guys think? any opinions or ideas? And before anybody says it, i dont have oneitis, i was actually the one who ended everything with her and i feel perfectly ok.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

In my opinion you should always leave the door open for any girl you are attracted to. No you can't tell the future and she knows that but simply tell her that.

IMO in this case though I think you should encourage her to talk this through with her parents. The longer her mom fights this while the girl likes you the more guilt she will build up and attach to you.

In my experience a woman's guilt is one of the hardest obstacles to overcome.

Well if there are rules before you date her... imagine if you ever did date her... or even worse married her.
