Recently got a girl's number and a date with her. My dad overhead our conversation and basically after I dropped the call offered me his BMW 5 Series for the night. Should I take him up on his offer or is it better to hide my financial status?

He can just make up a story about why he's using it that time. What matters is the impression her little hamster gets from seeing him in it.

No I wouldn't use the BMW. What type of car do you have right now? Does it run efficiently, is it clean and is it at least newer than a 2004? If so, at age 22 then that's a good spot to be in because again...you are only 22. You can get a solid running car, keep it cleaned up, even throw some accessories on it to add to the "style" of it, for a good price. You might get the car for $2,500 - $3,500 and after accessories of maybe $500, you will pay $3k - $4k give or take. No car note and just get basic insurance (no full coverage).

You should have other aspects of your financial journey to share with her, such as being in college or just graduating, just landing a job that will turn into X/Y/Z career, developing some sort of skills, etc. At 22 the women you should be dating should be no more than age 22 (maybe 24 at max) and they are going to judge you on your POTENTIAL to be "something" within 5 - 10 years.

From there, just make sure your Looks and Personality are in order, then you will be all set.

Now if you are my age (32), potential isn't going to cut it for the most part if you want a quality rotation of a.ss, you are going to need to have arrived at the spot for the most part if you want a quality rotation of a.ss.

I have no car. Even the most beat up car here costs over 60k USD due to certification to own a car (eg. Toyota). Its probably a norm here for guys here not to have their own ride or even if they do its their parents'.

it does not matter as long as you have a car. I drive a 13 year old beater because I'm cheap never stopped me. One girl even remarked that I drove a "dad car" ****ed me anyway
