Sometimes your girlfriend or wife might be the "rich" one. She might be generous. I'm not against it unless you are "using" them. If you found yourself in such a position, it would be beneficial to find ways to improve the quality of life for her outside of cash. It's only an issue if you are a total leech and literally don't like her and are a "one way" vacuum and dont' do anything for her.
