"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

This is a Congressional procedure and it has happened before.

July 28, 2006

"The Leadership apparently intends to use a process known as “martial law” to allow these bills to be brought to the floor very shortly after negotiations are completed, with the result that Members of the House are likely to have virtually no time to examine and consider the details of the legislation before they will be required to vote on it.

Here is the current "martial law" resolution applied through Sept.
29:

http://rules-republicans. house. gov/ShortTopics/Read. aspx?id=220

To report the martial law rule waiving a requirement of Clause 6(a) of Rule XIII with respect to consideration of any resolution reported from the Rules Committee, through the legislative day of September 29, 2008. It does not apply to any specific measure, but rather grants blanket authority.

False alarm.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

NO. FALSE ALARM.. Some **** head confused congressional procedure for martial law.

But yes, martial law is coming soon. Starting October 1st, u.S. army will begin patrols of our cities in full combat gear. No telling where that will take us.

We are just all on the edge. Finger on the trigger and ready to blast. Need to relax a little bit.

I'm still looking
I like how people from the United States themselves say how the world is going to end...we are all going to die...blah blah blah and they go live everyday no different. (In general, not just this forum) If people think the United States is collapsing then just move to a different country already and shut up.

Okay, Apusislaya, so you recognize legislative "martial law" is not the same as military martial law, but yet you refuse to retract your assertion of military martial law to commence on October 1? If truly there was to be imposition of military forces then most undoubtedly the news media would be all over the story. That is what reality tells us. Your link to Armytimes.com is incredibly weak evidence. I know the tactic you are trying to employ, because what you will argue is the training for the hypothetical event of domestic deployment is actually some bogus cover story and will be the real thing. You are wrong.

Rather than simply argue with you, I'm going to play a card which I rarely employ but is effective. I'm presenting you the Deep Dish Challenge. I wager $500.00—five hundred US dollars and zero cents—of my own money that you are wrong; that there will be no military martial law effective October 1, 2008, and most certainly that there will be no military martial law by December 31, 2008. I am dead serious. I have the money and come armed with full intentions. If you don't have $500.00 to spare, I am willing to negotiate down to $250.00 or $100.00—your pick. We can also negotiate how the money would be transfered—Paypal seems like a good idea but once again I'm willing to negotiate. (We would also need to clarify what exactly you do mean by martial law.)

Do not scoff at the idea of a challenge. If you are wrong, which I have no doubts you are wrong, you need to seriously reconsider your paranoid conspiratorial worldview and opinions.

The brigade will not change its name, but the force will be known for the next year as a CBRNE Consequence Management Response Force, or CCMRF (pronounced “sea-smurf”).
Are they serious

BTW isn't a sea-smurf called a Snork :p

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

October 2nd and still no martial law. Oh, and the United States is still around. Who would have thought that?

I been alive longer then most of the members on this forum, and I have yet to see one of these numerous conspiracy theories spouted ever proven true.

Ever.

Go back to smoking pot, watching "Fight Club" and reading lunatic fringe web sites.

The people that buy into this crap end up living in their parent's basement at age 40, reading infowars/alex jones' type web sites, working at some minimum wage job and all the while ranting about how the Government is preventing them from succeeding.

Complete AFC behavior.

Everyone is responsible for their own destiny. No one controls your life except for yourself.

Take a look around. Your home/apt, your job, your friends, your girlfriends, or lack there of, your lifestyle, your habits, your appearance, etc...

It's a snapshot of who you are.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
