if you and I (or just you, if note to yourself) AGREE to use, say, page 45 of Atlas Shrugged as our commo page (and 46, 47, and so on). Do NOT use pen or pencil or anything pointed/hard to touch the page, cause it will leave indentations that can be felt/seen.
go across the first line, looking for the first letter in the first word of your message. If you can't find it, use the letter's number , ie, "j" is the 10th letter. write down (10) and encircle it. go to next line down and look for your next letter. if you find it, count the number of letters over from the left side of the page and write down that number. yes, it's cumbersome, for short notes only, but unless somebody knows what book, it's hopeless. Dont be leaving the book in your home and dont check it out of library, and DO notice what EDITION of the book you are using!
