Trump has already selected Myron Ebell, a known critic and skeptic of the whole bull$hit climate change theories, to head up the transition of the EPA. That's right, transition. Trump believes the EPA is vastly overstepping their authority and intends to rein them in a great deal.

LOL. Seriously man? Just like Chicago recently said they're not going to deport anyone, and NYPD is going to shred paperwork? Yeah sure. Democrat stronghold cities like that live and breathe, they exist to suck off the tits of the federal government for all kinds of capital inflow. Trump can just cut that off with a signature and you know he will do it too. Let's see how long those cities last when we start deporting them from everywhere else in the nation and the choices for them are either head back to Mexico (or wherever you came from) or go to these 3 cities.

If they start massive deportations it will close down many legal businesses due to a lack of patrons.

37% of the Hispanics where I live are illegal. If they are deported it will be a ghost town.

When Alabama chased out the illegals, farmers had their crops rot in the field. American young people simply will not sweat in the hot sun doing farm work. For people who think $15/hr is ridiculous as a minimum wage, that's for inside work in the air conditioning. Field work would require double or triple that pay in order to keep help. And as it stands now, farmers are subject to foreign competition under NAFTA. The only way to compete with Mexico is to use immigrant labor. Driving away those workers would kill American agriculture.

All Alabama said was "we're coming to check everyone's papers," and all the workers disappeared. If one member of a big family is illegal, they're all going to run so that they keep their family together.

If we could create a migrant labor system that actually worked, and where everyone was legal, that would be great. But that's not the system supporting the current prices at grocery stores right now.
