got one question that been buggin me lately. im 16, yeh im young, i dont know whats marriage is alike. but from the looks of my view now it looks like sh1t, im assuming all you guys been married for at least a few years.. how is marriage, do u still have to maniuplate girls and put up with tests? do you always gotta have ur interest level below hers? is it possible for u to be "too sweet" or "to much caring" for ur wife? is it wrong to have ur wifes name tatted on ur left chest?

it bugs me because i cant be the true me, im a nice guy but recently i developed a backbone last year, since jan 06 and now, and its like the more girls i meet, the thicker it gets. i dont wanna become an azzhole, spittin on girls faces. im about the romantic moves, i enjoy sweepin girls off their feet. but when it comes to game. tests, bullshi1t drama, and then try to figure out "low interest" then try to spark her interest again its pointless. i walk away too much.

what are your guys perpective on marriage?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I"m glad you posted this because it explains the exact reason I've had to speak up against the marriage bashers here. We have some of our elder folks here marriage bashing, including happily married ones, and leaving the impressional folks with the idea that marraiges are a bad deal. I feel these same people should feel some sense of accountability because of this impression. This all despite the latest research that says, generally speaking, married people (as a whole) are more happy than unmarried people.

If/when you find a woman that genuinely loves you and you decide to marry her, then you're not going to end up having to spend any time "playing games". Now that's not to say you can be lazy about not being a DJ. Whether you marry or not, you really need to take some of the basic pricipals of DJ to heart, because they're basically teaching you how to be and act like a man. You can't/shouldn't become so lazy that you allow yourself to be feminized.

Walking away is just fine; nothing wrong with that. Just yesterday, I did something mundane to get my wife's panties all in a wad, and i didn't realize that she was mad until i kissed her on the neck suggesting we hook up after we put our son to bed. When i realized she was going to act like a b**** because she was mad, i simply ignored her for the rest of the night and did other things I enjoy doing without so much as even thinking of her. She would have loved for me to have felt punished, but i made it plainly clear by my actions that my life is filled with plenty of things that keep me happy besides her sex.

She'll be over it by the time i get home today. The way i see it, its her loss because i make her cu* at least 80% of the time (unless i'm really tired that day which sometimes makes me go early). And even then, I think she still "likes" it.

Find the right woman, and it can be great. Don't believe me, ask RT * evil laugh *

...........

Now, put that in the back of your mind and get back to sarging. Man you're 16, so you should have years of gaming as a single man. Just be very careful and practice safe sex, ok?

yeh thanks man, i understand that we gotta still stand as man and dont take sh1t. acheive what we have, have some sort of abimtion in our life, and not be lazy, i understand fully, those concepts. and i hope u meant by that the dj basic princpals because this is like common sense for a man, he should be doing this the start of his life. cuz i hate playin mind games and tricks, and dumb sh1t like that., its pointless. so is marriage a relief? i know most girls mature or pick up their act around the age of 22. so im curious...

and you are right. ppl blow it out of portion too much saying marriage sucks.. "once ur married u lost ur balls" stuff like that. it makes me wanna be single but then again NO one wants to be lonely its a natural human desire. to attract the opposite sex.

That's probably because quite a few single people have already had failed marriages and divorces. It makes sense to me that (most of the time) if you're still married, you should be happy. otherwise you can get a divorce. Yes, I know, it's not that easy when you bring in kids and assets and the wife chopping your balls off in court because of our ridiculously biased court system. I know.

Anyway, I'm 16 too, so I don't know shiat about marriage. However it seems to me that the only person that can detach your balls from the rest of your body is YOURSELF. As long as you stay a man and lead in the relationship, marriage doesn't sound terrible. It's when the chicks take the upper hand and walk all over the men that problems happen.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

It should be, and it will (be a relief) if you marry the right woman. My wife was 19 when i married her, but i had her well trained by that time (no games). I married at the start of my 2nd semester of my junior year in college (at 21), and from that point on, i went from mostly B's to almost straight A's the last 3 semesters. Why? Because I was no longer having to spend the excess amount of time required in the dating scene. In the infatuation stage, marriage is awesome because she's right there with you. If you get to wanting a f***, and you definitely will a lot of the time at 21 years old, she's right there. You can do her, then 20 minutes later go back to whatever else it was you were doing. Its great!

Those jokes about not getting sex in marriage are just jokes; or at least they should be. You (should) get all the sex you want. If not, you've gotta put your foot down fast on that! I don't have that problem, but i can tell you if i did, I would have no tolerance for it. If she couldnt feel attraction for me anymore, I'd get a divorce. Its that simple.

Now i'm going to agree with RT to an extent; if you can help it, i wouldnt advise marrying as young as i did, though i think making a hard and fast rule of minimum 28 like he does is being arbitrarily silly. But anyway, here's how i see hindsight; I would have liked to have dated longer, yet had doing so cost me the wife i have now, I wouldnt have changed a thing. She's an awesome woman. Sometimes life hands you the one you want to hang on a bit sooner that you'd like. Life is not always ideal.
