Trouble w/ Part time job... UNICRU

I've applied to several places for a summer job, and they all have that damn UNICRU psychological analysis test.

So i called back a week or two later,
and i've been told that i don't meet the "requirements".

I did some research on the internet and i found that these personality test want a dumb and afc employee that can be easily manipulated? is this true?

And i anwsered the questions like a DJ...


Has anyone beaten this test and actually gotten a job? I have a job already, but i need more hours.
I don't have the actual test i took, but these questions i found seemed familiar to the ones i filled out.
Also i'm talking a similar test soon, so i need to know how to pass this test.

1. I thought there were no wrong anwsers in a personality test. Different people can interpret the questions differently.

2. Isn't this an invasion of privacy?

3. How can they establish my personality,
when its pretty obvious that 1/2 of the questions i anwser are blatant lies?


I think i'm just going to avoid all stores that have a "personality test".
I'm a good worker, i don't steal, i follow my boss' instructions i don't need some virtual shrink analyzing my values.

1. There are no wrong answers, but there are obviously answers that would make you a less desirable employee

It's possible.

Especially with Wal-Mart, with their obsession with marijuana and being anti-union.

It's probably easier to manage someone who's easily manipulated, takes it like a b|tch, and never talks back. And it doesn't hurt if he's too stupid to even know what's going on.

That'd explain many of the people I see working at places like Wal-Mart and some grocery stores (not all, as some don't use this UNICRU crap).


Keep in mind, this is just a theory. If it's really true, than I really hate it. If this is what companies are doing, then I don't agree with it at all.

Especially when I'm pretty much the complete opposite of the "ideal peon b|tch." I'm difficult to manipulate, I'll talk back if the time is right, I won't take it like a "b|tch," and I'm fairly smart (not to toot my own horn, but I've been able to do things that many people can't).
