"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I am wondering how you go from picking up chicks in high school to the real world. To me high school is starting to become boring. I've managed to get 10 or so women but in our high school there aren't a lot of popular good looking girls out there and the ratio is pretty poor when it comes to guys to girls. I've mastered a lot of the techniques for picking up chicks at school but the real world seems a lot harder, you have no social proof and no one knows you, how do you guys make the transition?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

thats why its tougher. Everything i.e. the way you'll go about approachingwill be the same , except the fact that they're total strangers. Even i'm slowly expanding my comfort zone to total strangers. Not very good with it.
We all will get out of HS one day , so might as well learn it.As for social proof . learn some basic magic tricks , handwriting analysis etc , and show it to them when you meet ,that will able you to generate enough social proof .

Slowly and steadily , one approach at a time , we will make the transition

I have the opposite problem, when I'm out at the shopping centre or on the street I can easily #close and then meet up later with just as much success. However when it comes to school I find it a lot harder to keep them interested because I'm seeing them almost every day. This is because I make a great first impression but I have trouble with DHV when I'm seeing the same person almost every day. I'm hoping it will come naturally after a while as I start to stay more in the DJ mindset rather than act as a DJ.

Hey plec07. How do you build and show DHV so fast on the street? share it with me , i'm interested to know. My main problem outside ie street approach is approach anxiety , and i guess i'll slowly learn to deal with it.

As for your query , I guess you cannot DHV all the time. You have to move ahead from A2/A3 to comfort and then I guess throw in a little DHV or surprise trick once a while if you wish.

Plus a big problem in school , which even I face is that you cant show DHV to one and be like a loser to anothers. You have to be around with chicks , you have to be as social and as popular everwhere. But thats my opinion. Let me know if I'm wrong on this.
