“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

In the years leading up to his death Tom Torero was seen as a controversial figure – 1. Due to hiring a prostitute for a kiss close – 2. Allegations for plagiarism in his book “street hustle” which seem quite justified. 3. For voice recording taking a polish woman’s virginity – for the record because I’m reviewing his books and im a fan of them doesn’t mean I don’t condone anything he’s done or think that his previous wrong actions should be ignored due to him writing some good books and giving good advice to me – which I believe personally resulted in me getting laid from daygame.

I think this book is great for beginners, gives good advice and is available for free. For those reasons it’s worth the review and despite his flaws I think this serves well to preserve his legacy. Despite Tom’s disadvantages of looking like an alien, being relatively low income compared to those around him, dealing with mental health issues and the disability of being Welsh (I’m joking) he pulled through to write some fantastic journals and give great advice to beginners of the daygame craft. He was also an extremely hard worker – something which I believe is missing in this generation of day gamers – his “can do” attitude was certainly something I didn’t see much of when I hit the streets between 2017 and 2022- People were either not approaching at all , stuck on telegram groups discussing approaches that they were never going to do, stuck reading “self help” procrastinating like Jordan Peterson books, pretended that they were a lot better at seducing than they actually were by taking pics with other people’s girlfriends and using them to look cool akin to Michael Sartain .

“Daygame” was is an important book in Tom Torero’s catalogue it begins with a very in-depth story about his life including his earlier battles with depression – Tom is actually one of the only pua coaches to marry younger than 25 before entering daygame. A unique insight into a life which had love albeit scarcely . His university life seems to be that of the classic nice guy- always wanting to make women happy and laugh but seemingly never getting laid and often friend zoned . However it’s not a complete dry spell that some pua coaches claim to have prior to becoming coaches. He did actually have a marriage whilst at Oxford university and shows enough smv to seemingly get laid and lose his virginity albeit he marries out of scarcity very young at 21. I mean this is young for anyone in the UK really as a white British man I’ve rarely met anyone marry at 21 even my ultra conservative religious friends were marrying more so in their mid 20s rather than their early 20s.

His story then hits deep after his divorce and being hooked on anti depressants – similar to Johnny Berba he had a somewhat isolated childhood being diagnosed with anxiety and depression but unlike Berba who was an academic failure Tom was an big success making it to Oxford and graduating in biochemistry – up there with the likes of Paul Janka (who went to Harvard) Nick Krauser ( who landed a 6 figure job after graduating and also was an academic succeess ) he can certainly qualify as a uber intellectual prior to pickup he wasn’t a complete bum akin to someone like Berba who failed school and became a postman prior to becoming a life coach.

There are lays as well as failures but he sets to it like a duck to water moving on from his divorce pretty quickly. There’s not much emotional attachment to any of his numerous lays which is a bit strange as opposed to Krauser who’s divorce seems to plague him throughout his journals ( I don’t see this as a sign of weakness by the way – divorces are tough and its entirely understandable to see it playing on someones conscious mind for years) He also never seems to particularly “fall in love” with his lays in contrast to James Marshall who In his autobiography A Natural History Falls deeply in love with a Ukrainian girl who uses him for a passport to get to Australia and then cheats on him. Tom appears to be extremely vanilla and indifferent throughout the book even when he courts a 10 or a catwalk model- which maybe could be why some people regard him as a sex addict. He seems to be on the chase throughout the journals – there’s never any time for attachment or feelings.

Therefore with this book what you see Is really what you get – its a raw insight into Tom Torrero’s life as a day gamer – it highlights his successes from the early 2010s- but most of these are continuous hookups with different women – there’s no relationship development akin to James Marshall’s A Natural History as mentioned prior which follows the end of Marshall as a day gamer and into a wedding and marriage that ultimately failed. Neither are there deep rooting connections like Nick Krauser’s Balls Deep nor does Torero really dwell on his divorce or failures for too long . I guess that was part of his strengths that he was good at moving on diligently but this leaves the book to offer little guidance for those who want real development on their relationships with women into girlfriend’s and wives but rather serves beginner day gamers better as guide on how to open, hook and close interactions. Its straight forward in it’s appeal which is what makes it good for those looking for more hookups off the street- but for those looking for the “next level” it could be seen as too one dimensional – I know that Torero spoke poorly of LTRs in his podcast but the fact that there’s so little relationship development between the girls could leave certain readers who want wives and girlfriends left wanting.

There is a good bit of info on entourage game with a lot of compliments towards one of his wingmen Beckster – his night game techniques are very highly rated by Tom and he clearly is a social circle expert – even viewing some reviews on the dating review website literally named “dating skills review” https://www.datingskillsreview.com/basic-bootcamp-pua-method-rob-kingy/ it’s clear that his students have big admiration for them. Tom shows a large degree of work ethic- really relentless teaching at a primary school during the day and day gaming until 10-11pm – a good eliminator of the weasel excuse that daygame takes “too much time” Furthermore Tom builds his social circle – approaching women in Leicester square before courting them at the club which Beckster works at . One time he even gets an entourage of 12 women from central London entirely from cold approaching on himself . The entourage game segment prevents the book from being too one dimensional and all about daygame but bearing in mind a lot of this was done in 2011-2012 before the era of instagram and Tinder it’s hard to see if the entourage game segment of this book is practical for the majority of readers- nevertheless Tom proved that with sheer will he was able on numerous occasions to create a great social circle out of nothing and show that he was more than a one trick pony day gamer.

It would’ve been nice to see some character development of the women like we saw in James Marshall’s book and Liam Mcrae’s Rapid Escalation – also a development of Tom’s emotions which we get in the first couple of chapters seems absent by the third and just evolves into a endless string of lay reports – I know this is not meant to be a fiction novel but the appeal of Liam Mcrae’s Rapid Escalation and Nick Krauser’s Ball’s Deep was that you got to really see the insights of the good women and bad women and their behaviours – I feel Tom could’ve developed this a bit more other than calling the Russian women “princesses” .Tom even states in the book that same day lays and quick rapid escalation may harm the potential to convert a relationship to a long term relationship and I tend to agree here. He gives some very important advice on the importance of building comfort when escalating and shows his progression through going thorough lmr really well.

The book is available free and is probably more practical than a lot of paid seduction books out there. His experiences hopefully are cherished and inspire the next generation of day gamers to hit the streets.

Didn't realize both he AND J. Berba of Street Attraction offed themselves fairly recently

Right after Tom Torero killed himself, I made a thread about his suicide and the personal issues of well known pickup artists in general. Johnny Berba's suicide could have been discussed there when it happened in late 2024.

due to him writing some good books
I've not read this specific book but I have cited Torero's work before on this forum. Thank you for taking the time to create this thread.

Mercifully, you didn't unleash a turgidly "reasoned" rambling on that subject. I'm sure we'd all appreciate you NOT taking a stab at mulling over Berba's exit now

Yeah, sometime back, none other than Ross Jefferies(Who never referred to himself as a PUA, nor did he encourage anyone else to become such a thing)remarked that many who purported to follow in his footsteps were either sociopaths or deeply troubled individuals. His assessment was more on the nose than he likely realized at the time

Interesting point. I've never seen this remark.

I don't recall the term pickup artist being used until Mystery and others, which was the generation following Ross Jeffries. Mystery and others came out of the late 1990s/early 2000s. Ross Jeffries started as far back as the late 1980s and was already popular enough by 1992 to be a panelist on a daytime talk show. In the media environment of the time, that was an achievement. The internet was barely in any households by then.

This is plausible. I think the thread that I started about how some of the most well known pickup artists having personal issues would be relevant to this.

The same is true for both self-proclaimed Wokesters and card carrying Red Pillers today
