I think you already have the answer to your last question. You can make her into an FB in your mind but in hers itll never be that way, even if she agrees to go along with it.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

It's been tough. Haven't had much success being single for the last couple of weeks, which is really surprising since I was being hit on by every angle when I was with girlfriend.

So I'm harder than ice in Antarctica (oops, well, before global warming) pretty much 24/7, and am even fantasizing about my ex now. We're actually supposed to see a movie tonight (BALLS OF FURY), but other people will be there so hopefully nothing will happen.
