In this thread let's share and talk about opener lines that we use on Tinder and explain why we choose them.
For me, i frequently ask right off the bat 'if you could wake up tomorrow and be anywhere in the world, where would you pick?'
It has worked wonders for me because firstly you separate yourself from the rest of the boring 'hey how are you' guys and second and most important it is great to screen the girl and give you a very rough estimation of her maturity and about whether she will be able to hold a conversation of a basic level, for example if a girl replies with 'somewhere where i'm happy' or 'somewhere where my friends are' you immedietaly know that she's probably not worth your time if you're the type who enjoys a more intellectual connection in your dates, whereas if she replies with something that shows she actually has some awareness of the world around her (for example one decent reply i got was 'the worlds biggest library') then she might be a better prospect than the more simple-minded alternative from the trashpool of women on Tinder.
Of course my reasoning is entirely subjective and i expect a difference of opinion with each different individual.
