ahah yeah. But since Tinder allows to text without exchanging numbers, I could ask her out via Tinder itself. I'm testing her interest and apparently is low.

I've encountered this before. It's best to keep your cool.

I don't know how you asked for their number but I typically set up a date on Tinder first then ask for their number. I've had women say "I've given out my number before and it didn't work out so well" or "I don't like to give out my number so soon, can we keep it on Tinder for a while?"

I just reply "Sure. I understand" or "Cool. No worries" then we just keep communicating on Tinder till the date comes. Most often I'll get their number by the time the date is over.

So just play it cool and keep using Tinder to communicate with them and ask them out. Getting the number isn't the be all end all.
