When following the DJ rules about when to text and time between dates I'm often stuck knowing when to text after a date and when to set up dates.
DJ rules are stuff like don't text for 3 days after the date, don't text on the weekend and don't arrange dates with new chicks on the weekend. But this leaves very little time to actually text/date.
For example, I went out with a girl for a drink on Tuesday. The next time I want to see her I want it to be a weekend, but I can't text her on Wednesday or Thursday and then texting Friday for a date that night or Saturday is pretty short notice and likely to get blown out.
At the same time, is leaving it til the next Monday to set up a date for the next Friday leaving it too long? Kinda kills the momentum if it means there's almost two weeks between date 1 and date 2...or maybe it doesn't and that's what I should do.
I might be thinking too much about this, but when you factor in all the 'rules' it leaves a precise window to strike.
I suppose I could text girl from Tuesday something general this evening, see how she responds then message her again on Monday to set up date for following Friday. Ideally I want second dates to be weekends so I can smash. This approach prevents me from asking her out a week in advance yet keeps things ticking over a bit. Plus, if she's cold/goes ghost I will know not to even bother asking for date 2.
