You've never heard of Billy Corgan?

Sigur Ros, Deathcab for Cutie, Mars Volta, Minus the Bear, Broken Social Scene,a nd Explosions in the Sky are the only bands I've heard of on that list. ok that's actually more than I thought.

Broken Social Scene is a really good band, actually. Their music is a little out there, but they're pretty amazing.

Eyehategod - Preaching the endtime message(or something like that)

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

i'd only heard a few of those albums.

The Bravery is good. Bloc Party is better.

Not much else there really interested me. I listened to Frances the Mute in the bath, at night, and damn. I thought aliens were outside my window.

Afterwoods, I put it in the bin. It was different, granted. Experimental, granted. Good? I don't know about that. Give me At The Drive In, 2005 is just about ended, and I've been listening to them for years.

I'd like to vote for

My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge

(may have been released 04? first single was out sometime in 05 in Australia, so I'm counting them as 05.)

Its emo-pop type music, whatever. Alot of haters for anything thats popular. In Australia, even though they are touring as we speak (with greenday) no one knows of them, so they aint popular here, but a damn good cd.

I haven't heard of a lot of the bands on that list. I am a huge fan of Bloc Party and The Bravery though. I liked Francis the Mute as well, but I don't know if I would put it in the top 50 albums of this entire year.
