Well, i've been figuring out what kind of philosophy works best for me...the don juan philosophy fits in quite nicely as well.
basically the rules i live by...
1. take care of yourself
2. dress with your own individual style. Find people who dress well, and go shopping with them.
3. become enthuasic about everything you do...learn how everything workes once...get geeked up for a couple hours and learn everything that there is to know, and then you can use your item with ease.
Good for digital cameras, computers, ipod, any new toy you find. A lot of portable music devices make it easy to bring your music along with you.
4. have friends in all areas that you are interested in...meet the hardcore people and see if you're interested. You'll learn the right way of doing things very quickly like this.
5. Be enthuasic about what you like in school. You have to enjoy this, life is too short to be unhappy.
6. Everyone has their own personality...it's important to see where you fit in. If you are a tweener that can fit in with all kinds of people, even better. I'm a bit high strung at times, and a bit laid back at other times...which is okay, but you have to find what you like.
7. A lot of high quality people will be involved in long term relationships. It is your job to meet as many of them as possible and befriend them. They will hook you up.
