I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Just finished talking to this girl I work with about her sister who cares for a disabled child. Shes mad that her husband treats her sister like shes supposed to take care of this child. But then talks about how hes expected to work and maintain the household with no appreciation. I was just sitting there thinking to myself i'd rather care for a child than work any day. I also considered the burden a male has at work compared to a female. I come to work and i'm working on projects and doing kinda hard stuff, while this female I was talking to kinda chills and socializes the whole day. I didn't tell her she was being unfair because I just figured it wouldn't go over well and maybe I don't know the whole story. But whats the deal with this? How do you correct a girl that thinks this way? I figure it's important to make sure a girl pays half the bills when you initially move in with her so at some point if she has to stop working she realizes just what your contributions are. I mean even if she doesn't have to pitch in because you have a good job you should still ask her to do it just so she places value on financially maintaining a household. Otherwise it is kinda never appreciated. Thoughts?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
