talking over aim

this girl that i like always likes to talk to me on aim, but it seems like sometimes we run out of things to talk about and such after the basic "whats up" period. whats some good things to talk about that will be interesting/funny/etc or just some lines that will make her remember me more or somethin

any advice would be really appreciated

also, sometimes this girl gets really depressed, whats some things i could say to cheer her up when shes feelin sad?

It's not too hard to get a conversation going with a woman. Just let her talk about herself. If she gives a good answer, just elaborate from there.

Example: (Let's pretend she works at a tanning salon.)

You: whats up
Girl: not much, u?
You: im good. how was your day?
Girl: good, just got done with work. im tired
You: did the customers beat you up that much??
Girl: lol, well there was this one ***** that kept annoying me.
You: why didn't you slap her in the face?
Girl: haha, i wanted to soo bad you don't even know



If she doesn't feel like talking, or if theres something wrong, or whatever, then it will probably go like this:

You: Whats up?
Girl: Nothin
You: How was your day?
Girl: good
You: are you busy with something?
Girl: no

Stop talking, take her for a bike ride, a walk in the countryside, etc....Sometimes its good NOT to talk.

You run out of ideas after What's up.... That's...sad.
Talk about your day, ask her about hers. Tell her a story, make some date plans with her, holy crap, there's millions of ideas.

well the "whats up" part, usually takes about an hour or so, and then the conversation sorta stalls... i mean i want us to keep talking, becasue we both start talking to other people and stuff and stop talking to it sucks kinda, whats somethings i could say just to keep the conversation going?

also, were going to be together this weekend, but it will be in a place with alot of people we know (including her dad) so i cant really makeout with her or anything, but whats some flirtatious things i could do during conversation to make her enjoy it more? i just need some ideas

Usually I just let it die. My girlfriend usually says something back, or we just meh.... Doesn't affect much really.

As for flirting in front of her dad....that takes balls, or a lot of his trust already, lol. It depends on how long you've been dating. If it's a long time (months...months......), go nuts, give her a kiss every do often, but usually...running little inside jokes with winks will do sometimes.

during aim talks, i want to keep talking, but i can just keep asking questions like "so what is your little brother being for halloween" and stuff, is there any like general nice comments i could say that could start a conversation?
