I've been out of the game for a while due to LTR, but the above statistics doesn't surprise me.

Even in the 2010s, people just weren't using condoms anymore on a regular basis, including myself.

Blame it on the feat of AIDS having almost ceased to exist among the heterosexual population. Or Internet porn. Or something else, I don't know.

You need to be careful where you stick your pee-pee. Even when I was dating, I would be very selective on who I'd fvck with. Many a times, I'd just pass as it wasn't worth the STD risk. I cought Molluscum contagiosum a decade or two ago and then I became very selective. Granted, it's not a big deal, but it was a wake up call. Fvcking around wasn't worth the risk.

Just like Covid fearmongering, this article focuses on nothing but "cases", not outcomes. How many people who actually get syphilis go on to develop symptoms or are otherwise unable to treat it?

Most STDs are very treatable or may not even have symptoms in the first place. The bigger concern with raw dogging is pregnancy, that is worse than AIDS.
