"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Alright heres the story, and I'll bring things up to date at the end.

So I work with this chick, who has had a thing for me forver, and I haven't the slightest attraction towards her. A long time ago, probably Jan or Feb of '05, I was at my buddies house and she showed up and somehow got the idea that I was interested in her. (Who knows...cruel prank against me by friends or something...) Anyways, she has known I'm not interested in her, as I have told her several times.

Now heres the problem...

About a week ago, I agreed to go to some clubs up in Portlad, OR with some people...at the time I agreed, I didn't know that she was already going. Otherwise I would have comped out on that.

Anyways, she shows up, and starts buying drinks for everyone, blah blah...I got fairly drunk ( I usually don't get this drunk..blank out drunk that is) Apperently, we end up making out in the club something aweful, and we end up stumbling out of the club back to the hotel. We end up getting lost in portland for 5 hours, and apperently find some park to get "cozy" in.

As far as I know, we didn't Fvck, but I guess things got pretty touchy feely if you know what I 'm sayin.

Now she thinks I actually am attracted to her, and apperently has no conception of the whole..."you got me drunk and seduced me" concept.

To wrap things up:
I've talked to her since, and told her that there is no possible way that we could be together...that it isn't feasible considering we work together and would both get fired.

She offered to quit her job for me...and so obviosly more bells go off in my head *psycho!!!!

Anyways, I agreed to meet her for coffee and a "talk" before work tomorrow..

I've already played the ignorance card...saying I don't remember what happened....and that whatever did happen was wrong in my opinion...I've also told her that she can't quit her job over me or w/e b/c that is just plain stupid and would probably get me fired too.

Ideas?

This ***** is wack!

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I dunno. Just be straight as possible. In cases like this, almost no matter what you do, you're going to hurt them...and that's too bad, but you can't avoid it. You have to be as up front as possible.

Well I think I played that out perfectly.

I started out, making sure I got the first say on the whole issue. I let her know that SHE knew from the start that it would never go far, or turn into anything more than just that time, or just a "good time" I let her know that regardless of how I felt, that there was no way that I would risk my job over a relationship, much less a relationship that I didn't even want.

I think it is key that you get women thinking that they "know that X is impposible, and that they obviously knew that from the start"
Any time you can get a woman to agree with what you have to say is important, because that at least installs some sense of "maybe he IS right" in their mind's, even if they are just saying yes to agree to you.

I also let her know that she knew from when we first started working together that I never really did have much of an interest in a relation ship. And to follow that up, I pulled out the, "I'm having to much fun right now to stop for anyone"

Also, one thing I did not do, which I think is also key, is apologize about the whole night. I'm not going to allow some chick to get the best of me by apologizing over some stupid thing that she iniated.

Anyways, this all worked pretty good, and she took it hook and line...so I guess if anyone else gets into this situation, these are some tips that might help.

I played it so perfect, its not even going to be wierd at work now. I was kinda worried about it before, based upon how clingy this chick is, but I guess all it takes is some words, and you're all good to go.
