I've seen too many posts about failure on this forum. It creates a false sense of security for those who are looking to feel better about their own failures but it does nothing to help them improve on themselves. I can see some posters get complacent knowing that others are failing like they are. Well I want to hear about your successes. Whether it be your career, a successful approach/hook up, health, etc. We need some positivity in this place.

I'll start. I recently broke it off with a toxic, alcoholic woman who needs professional help. Afterwards I became hyper focused on my career and it's been paying off tremendously. I also sold my condo and made some serious money that I plan to use to put down on another home. Once I'm settled in, I'll be back on the prowl on a new and improved level.

Years ago. When I was 19 or so, I was (and am) a gamer nerd. I had no clue about women. But I knew I wanted one. At a community college, they had a two day workshop over a weekend on meeting women & dating. We practiced small talk. Cold approach. Etc. it was emphasized over and over that CA will very probably lead to failure. But, eventually, a success will come. But, trying is good. So. That week I saw a cute girl at a bus stop. I figured ‘I might as well get my first failure over with’. I approached. Turned out way better than I expected. She was very receptive and interested. I wasn’t prepared for anything but dealing with rejection. I panicked. I had no plan for success. I mumbled ‘It was great talking to you. Have a nice day.’ And turned and walked away. She looked very confused.
Who knows if I could have gotten that girl. But prepping so hard for failure was a mistake.

Many years ago, I was 17 and was invited to a (female) friends birthday party. She was new in town. I guess she invited many new people she met in school but most of them flaked.

The whole "party" was like four or six girls and me, that was it. Being the only guy meant this was going to be like fishing in a barrel, all I had to do was not f0ck it up.

At some point we run out of ice. Being the nice guy that I was, I offered to go buy some more. For some reason, I asked "Who will join me?" and one of the girls (all of them passed the boner test btw) offered to go with me. On the way to the store, I dont even remember how but we started making out and going through bases.

Me: Lets go to a hotel

Her: No

Me: How about now?

Her: Ok, yes.

And this was a girl I just met. That was my first Same Night Lay. We never made it to the store to buy the Ice. Guess I was not such a nice guy after all.
