stubble or no stubble?

What do you prefer when going out? What gets you the best results. I don't like shaving but feel kind of grimy with too much stubble. I like the look when I use the beard trimmer with no guard on which leaves a slight stubble like in this pic I just snapped with photo booth lol. You can see a hint of stache and beard.

Is this kind of douchey looking? I really prefer not shaving totally clean unless I'm going out for a special occasion etc. I think slight stubble looks better on guys in their 20's and clean shaven when your 30+ What do u think?

Stubble is generally a plus for picking up ladies. But it doesn't mean completely unshaven. You still should shave your neck and under you chin. The stubble should cover your beard area only.

It's great for any guy who isn't greying yet. Once that starts, shave it clean.

As long as your neck is always clean then it doesn't matter. Nobody likes a neckbeard, that's for sure.

I always like having a stubble, but on the flipside, I always think I've made the right choice immediately after I shave. It just looks fresh.

And I 2nd the neck thing. No neck beard.

Stubble. Dates go NOTICEABLY better with stubble. One time shaved and wore glasses to a date and IL dropped off the map lol.

No $hit?? I never wear my glasses on first date and I always shave, but I will give stubble a shot on my next date JUST to see if your mileage is same as mine.. Interesting indeed.

Yeah I get best response (I think) with a slight stubble and shaved neck. But like no more than 2-3 days growth. That seems the ideal. Many of the guys who rock stubble are more at a week's length (the 1st guard) on the trimmer, whereas I do no guard.

Most women, if asked though, seem to prefer clean shaven.
