So you "made a mistake" and sent her a text you shouldn't have. If you realize that then don't do it again and learn from it. No big deal.

If the chick leaves or makes some huge deal out of some simple "beta" mistake she's the wrong person for you to begin with. Be glad she showed you that.

But being insecure and needing to walk on eggshells and second guess yourself everytime is something you have to recognize as your own problem to work on and no one else. Or else you'll end up driving yourself insane and becoming disgruntled over chicks when the real issue is something you should have really worked on and been able to control: Yourself.
 

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Well said. There's nothing as attractive as confidence and shrugging off rejection coz you know your life is awesome with or without that woman in your life.

Right. Most of our problems come from the mindset of "getting girls to like me" instead of making ourselves the best men we can be and choosing from the pool of girls who appreciate our value.
