Something noticed about women...

I've been noticing this all my life. That older women seem to be far more dominant in relationships, louder, more assertive, and domineering.

Everybody can think of somebody who has a "controlling mother" or might even have one yourself... I know I do.

Nobody ever hears of a "controlling" father, atleast I haven't.

I also heard a radio talk show today about who had more power in households/relationships. A conclusive study was done on couples and it was determined that Women, not men, were more dominant and got their way more often than not in discussions.

This all appears backwards to me, isn't it supposed to be men who are dominant and assertive?

Well mainly from a guys perspective you would see a Controlling mother. A girl usually thinks she has a controlling father. I've heard of lots of controlling mothers and lots of controlling fathers. That concept is pretty much equal.

As to women getting their way this can be traced back to the argument of AFC's get married etc. We'd say these guys that are being dominated by their woman are AFC's.

On another note though is it really being an AFC to have a fetish for being dominated?

I know there are extents to this. Obviously if the man is being overly dominated by his woman he might not be happy, but what about in the instances where everything is content. Maybe the woman with a dominant personality has partnered with a man with a more submissive personality and their is a balance.

I've seen the arguement over and over again how its our natures to be dominant over women and women really want to be submissive. I'm sure thats one way of doing things and some people match those profiles, but not everyone is the same and even fluctuations of hormones might have a part to play.

Another thought I wondered is what happens when a man stumbles across sosuave or in any case comes in contact with the philosophies we preach here. Now what if this man is happy with his life, content things are great. But he starts reading this information or listening to it and is being told everything in his world is actually wrong. Eventually this flips his whole world upside down. I'm sure you can all fill in more info to this analogy on your own. but point is if its not broke don't try and fix it.

It seems to generally hold true for marriages to nice guys, though men who physically intimidate their wives tend to maintain dominance. There must be some healthy middle ground between the two.

Not sure what the average age was in this survey, but I think that the serious decline of testosterone in middle aged and older men is a large factor. When my dad was my age, he was physically fit and ambitious. Now he's fat and lets my stepmother tell him what to do.

yeah I like to feel small and protected when im with my woman, especially in bed I like being tossed around, with my hair being pulled, smacked and taken from be..... well you get the picture

Thats why I only date women 6'ft or taller, sorry short gals nothing personal its just what I like.
