"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I'm at Uni and am flat mates with this girl. She came to uni after splitting up with her boyfriend who she'd only been seeing for a couple of months.
Anyway, after a month or so they got back together but he couldnt stand her living away so broke it off. He, however calls he EVERY night and they speak for hours on the phone.
Now i've been following the DJ way for sometime now and am under the impression that a calling a girl and chatting away for ages is a huge no no, especially everyday! However, this girl is head over heels about him. Such to the extent that she will stay in and wait for his call OR get all anxious when he doesn't. When she does go back home between semesters she sleeps with him and spends all her time with him.
Is this guy a AFC or a DJ or really cant work it out?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

well if he broke it off with her recently she will be into him more than ever because she'll be scared of losing him.

unless you put a lot of effort in, long distance relationships normally don't work out. I think with normal contact (not hours and hours on the phone) there is a three week rule where one person will start to stray, not sure if that's true or not but I've seen it happen.

sounds like a DJ for breaking it off and then a AFC for calling all the time but there isn't much choice in a long distance relationship otherwise she'll stray.
