- Taking walks and being a regular at a Park ( You see the same regular people everyday...a simple hello can start a friendly relationship.)

- Martial arts dojo - joining a martial arts group.

- Gym - make a lot of friends with the regulars there.

- any other sort of Hobby groups you may have

- Going to concert festivals
