Should you tease a girl if everyone else is doing it?

Hey guys, just wanted to get your opinion on this. Obviously playful teasing can be great when flirting with girls. However, I was wondering if you guys think this is still the case if a lot of other guys are teasing her as well?

There is a girl who I met recently and every time I see her all that the other guys around her do is tease her. I feel like teasing is great but it's also important to be different from all those other guys. So far I've just basically ignored the teasing rather than joining in on their side or defending her. Just wanted to get you guys' opinions on whether you think this is the right kind of way to behave in these types of situations.

I would tease her in private, simply because playful teasing is flirting.

So when she's around 9 guys who are teasing her and you're there as well, I would just be normal unless in private. And we all know what happens when there's a girl in a group of 4+ guys...
