Should you own two stocks in same sector?

Is this okay or a no, no. I read somewhere that Jim Cramer said "never own two stocks in same sector".

However, what about stocks that are same Sector, different industry?

For example, I already own 3M Company, which is listed as Industrial for the Sector and Diversified Machinery for the Industry.

I also like United Technologies.

This company is listed as Industrial for their sector, and Defensive/Aerospace for their industry.

I plan on holding both long term.
 

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.
