Shooting. A good story.

My wifes 8 yr old grandson wanted to go shooting. My wife bought him an airsoft gun. I took him out to shoot it near our house. Keep in mind his stepdad is a dysfunctional sociopathic a$$hole who pays no attention to him whatsoever. Not a father figure to say the least.

So, I go out and buy a Savage 22 LR and put a Simmons 3x9 on it and take him to my indoor range. It's his first time.

Last Friday night, before we went to the range, I instructed him on the use of firearms. Make sure it's unloaded, always point it down range and never point it at anything you do not intend to shoot, blah blah.

Anyway, he paid attention to all that I told him and made no mistakes. He started shooting at 25 yards and eventually drilled it with a 2 inch group!

The little sh!t had the biggest smile on his face! The other guys on the range praised him as did I. He was just beaming! He took his targets home and mounted them on his bedroom wall along with some pics I took of him at the range.

Gotta call from him. He wants to come over this Friday to spend the night.

I know what he's going to want to do on Saturday!

Not only was I proud of him, I felt like I made a small difference in his life.

Every kid should have a father figure worth of that name, even a 100 yrs old man whos name remind of a rapper.

Most of the damages in our society are made from bossy unfemine women and afc/uncompetant dads.
For what remains leftists and the PC brigade will do.

Anyway well done old man, you probably helped to enrich this society of a worthy man and deprived it from an other weight on us, even better you made a sad kid happy and gave him some confidence in himself.

Many users of this forum wouldnt probably be here if they had a decent father figure.

Talked to Mrs.5string. Her grandson is calling and wanting to come over for the weekend. Looks like I opened a can of worms! Guess I'd better stop and buy some ammo over the lunch hour.
