"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

OK, you're no Brad Pitt and you somehow managed to isolate a woman. You sense that she kind of likes you but she's on the fence because of your looks. Here's what you do:

Bring up the subject of relationships and vaguely refer to how shallow people can be. She'll ask, "What makes you say that?".

You: "Well, let's see... take physical attraction, for example. It's obvious that when a couple falls in love, the other person becomes the most beautiful person in the world in their eyes. Even little imperfections that were at first noticed become endearing to the other. I feel that many people miss out on beautiful relationships simply because they don't (insert long pause here) look beyond the physical."

You've just triggered her ability to rationalize her way into looking beyond your looks. You implied she would be shallow if she didn't. You've made her remember that in the past she has fallen in love with someone and minor physical issues didn't matter anymore, so she can do the same with you. Finally, because of the pregnant pause at the end, you commanded her to look beyond the physical (something she wants to do deep down inside anyway).

Give it a whirl. It works not only with looks but with any other idea you want to implant in her.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I'm not sure I agree with this one. I think it will actually solidify her belief that you're unattractive.

I agree this could end up bad, but (in my opinion) only if the woman didn't have enough interest in you to be willing to look deeper in the first place. If she cares about you enough to want to get involved then she's probably attracted enough to not take what Atom Smasher is trying to say as insecurity or low confidence because you will have already set the frame in other ways that you are atleast a self confident male.

Yup, you need to be able to slip it under the radar, which is no doubt much harder for a younger man to do than for a sly old fox. I would never be able to pull this off when I was younger (even in my 40s) but I've used it a few times with 9s to great effect. I'm not a bad looking guy at all but not a 9.
