I have sent and received just about everything. You can send just about anything to folks these days. I don't know about domestic sending, but there are a number of options if you are sending out of your country.

From what the girl that send them to me said its pretty expensive. and as for getting a phone number or finding a shop like spider suggested thats pretty simple with the power of the web. Even if you can't find a website that suits you you can certainly look at her area phonebook online.
