"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I was at work today... (I hope this isn't old news)

A colleague of mine showed me a book... the book had gold edged pages, it was black, and labeled like a bible - it looked like a bible... it looked so much like a bible that a female colleague came into the office and asked me why I was reading the bible... I told her I was a "born again"... just for today...

The book's author is Neil Strauss... and his book is an account of his experiences with the online DJ/PUA community... it's written like a story/biographical account, but it includes a lot of theory and features a glossary that'd decode this forum after one read for any newbie...

My colleague told me his roomate told him to read it... It's basically one of us writing a sucess story... check it out, I was very surprised to see it, it apparently lists websites he used...

The book: http://www.amazon.com/Game-Penetrating-Secret-Society-Artists/dp/0060554738

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Interesting book - but you still have to buy "Mystery Method", Jugglers, and look at all these other products, etc... and see which one works for you. The book itself gives interesting field reports and bits and pieces of information, but nothing coherent and informative enough to actually change something.

It's inspiring to say the least that a 'half a man' guy was transformed into a PUA, that anyone could do this, but there is a trajedy that's involved in the process. You still, even if you are successful with women in that way, may not meet the right woman to settle down with and have a family. And, while it may serve to boost the ego up for a while, you become greedy (only natural) with all the success, and end up even passing women who may have actually cared or meant something in order to just go to the next girl. Sort of like some bad karma flying around between the PUA's who steal engaged fiancees from their potential husbands for to satisfy their own selfish desires and seducing women to cheat on their husbands and boyfriends -- none of the PUA have found "the one" woman and had a normal healthy family.

The women it turn out tend to be garbage quality for a relationship, and if you want to be romantic or show your weak side to them, will end up walking over you and going to the next guy.

So, in terms of finding the one right woman in your life that will stick, none of the major player's were successful in the area that mattered most and were miserable because of it. Their many, many woman they conquested did not compensate for Mystery being upset for losing the girl that mattered most to him, or save him from depression. Ditto for other players in the book.

That is what I learned from the book.

Now to actually learn technique, you'd have to spend money elsewhere.

Had two acquaintances (not friends god forbid) who read this book. They bragged about it for weeks on end. In class they said to me, "Rob my man, come uptown with me tonight and I'll show you game that's even better than yours."

I said sure, and of course I didn't go. Weeks later I saw these two at the club. First thing I notice is bullets of sweat running down their foreheads, frantic conversation, and note cards they were reading in the bathroom.

Out of pure fun, I went up to them and starting shooting the ****. I told them I wanted to see their sick techniques (they were probably getting a hardon by this point).

Next thing I know, they're out at the bar dropping rediculous lines to women. The conversation was so corny it was hurting to watch. They proceeded to try and "game" most of the girls in the club.

After 15 minutes, I decided that was enough time to waste.

Moral of the story, don't take literature too far.

You know what, there's probably a lot of good material in that book. Just use the knowledge wisely.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I didn't mean to make it out as a bible for PUA's / DJ's

But I just thought the title was weird.. and I didn't really read more than the glossary, which i found hilarious.. (text book definitions for our jargon).. and I read a few dialoges.. but just the title, sortof aims to expose forums like this..

in any case, I'm glad people have heard of it - and it's old news to some.
