"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

KINDA LONG, SORRY:

Tomorrow there's a formal dance at my school and I'm going with a girl that I've been doing stuff with for 3 months. We're not actually going out but lots of people think we are and we do stuff together every weekend.

Anyway I think tomorrow (Saturday) would be a perfect time to ask her out but I need you guys to tell me the best time to do it. We're going with a group of 4 of her friends to the dance and to do stuff afterwards. The problem is that she has to do something all day tomorrow and doesn't get home until 7:30 while the dance starts at 8:00. I'm picking her up at 8:00 and then we're going straight to the dance, but the other 4 people in the group will be coming from a restaurant that they ate dinner at.

So the dance ends at 11:00 and then we're going to some cafe and then bowling. We're taking two cars, I'm driving one and one of her friends is driving the other, so I'm hoping it will only be me and my girl in my car. Then I'm guessing I'll just take her home and call it a night.

In all that time I'm not seeing any good place where I can ask her out. I want to do it romantically because I can tell she was disappointed with the casual way I asked her to the dance (I just asked her when I was dropping her off at home from the movies one night). I overheard her asking her friends if I got her a flower when I asked her and she said that I'm not that type. So I think that it would throw her off guard and really make her happy if I get her a flower (or how many should I get?) when I ask her out. I don't have to worry about it seeming AFC to her because we make fun each other ALL the time and she would just see it as being romantic and sweet.

So I'm looking for a good opportunity to ask her out and I would REALLY like to do it tomorrow because it is perfect. But there's not going to be a whole lot of time where we're all because her friends will be with us. I know she's going to want to go to the cafe but she has already said that she will probably just watch us bowl as she will be too tired. So should I suggest the two of us go somewhere else and if so where? I think you guys understand what I need help with here. Please share any ideas. Thanks.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I agree^^ There isn't really a perfect time unless you sense it at the moment. I know youll b able to do it perfectly your own way.
