If you're not into LotR and haven't been at least loosely following Rings of Power, you won't know or care what I'm talking about.
That should take care of the people who want to ask stupid questions about things that would take hours to explain.
Here's what happened, Sauron tried to tempt Galadriel into joining him by putting on the "Only your love can redeem me" act.. it didn't work.. and then he moved on to the next stage of his plan (just without her).
That's it. He wasn't consumed with heartbreak or vengeance or entitlement to her or anything like that. He merely said "Well that backfired for a hot sec. Anyway..."
So I don't see what people are saying when they claim the showrunners were trying to diminish Sauron in any way. Sure, in the heat of the moment, he lost his temper a little bit. That still doesn't mean anything. That's not the same as "incel-rage."
