Doesn't matter much at the moment since I am not single, but a recurring problem since back then I am not sure how to handle: at businesses were you are a regular, like coffee shops, a cute or sometimes hot hired gun will give me IOIs (flirt, ask questions, be giggly and silly) and I keep the banter flirtatious, ALMOST ALWAYS there is one or two other female coworkers of the woman who will vie for attention, get bitter, and ****block the cute girl. It's more of a curiosity to know how to deal with this since you can't be too obvious when they are working, but I have noticed it at different places...

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
