What's up guys, just a quick one for you.

Been on 3 dates with this girl so far, all gone great, slept with her last date and she's still always initiating conversations etc so no problem there.

She lives about 20 miles away and I had made plans to take her for dinner and drinks tonight, she was gonna drive here and then stay over. We were chatting last night and she asked what I was up to, I let her know I was going to a house party and her response was along the lines of 'ok I'll leave you alone then'. And then this morning I've woken up to a message from her saying her best friends been sacked off by this guy and is really upset, she can still come for dinner and then drive back and be there for her friend once she gets off work.

I said to her don't worry, no need for you to be rushing around, go be there for your friend tonight and I'll check you some other time.

She's responding insisting that she's got time to come for dinner, what do I make of this and what should I do? I have other options for the evening.

Cheers, Steve

She's still highly interested. Don't let her have a double-booked evening because she'll get caught up with her friend and then it's possible you'll end up getting ditched regardless. Plan a new date with her the next day or the day after.

I would say that if she insists and think she can do it then let her. You already did the "being kind" thing, you gave her the option and she declined. If she says she can make it she has already made a plan where she made time for you.

I'm guessing this response is a bit too late though, please tell us how things went down.

Cheers for the replys. She insisted that she'd be able to make both comfortably, so I went ahead and took her for dinner.
She ended up cancelling on her friend and staying round anyway :p
