Could an educated person on this attraction tactic please elaborate upon this theory of taking 2 steps forward and 1 step back.

I understand taking 2 steps forward to intensify the mood. But how does one take it one step back. Elaborate, give examples

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

whatever you did to advance, stop - take it away. If you're giving her a massage and she is really enjoying it, stop. If you're holding her or other such kino and she seems to be enjoying it...stop. Kissing & making out...same thing, you should be the one to stop it and go back to conversation or some other activity. Make her want more and KEEP her wanting more.
