"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Hey all,

I know repetition is the mother of all learning... so im gonna hit on as many girls as possible, but what do you guys think about trying to pickup 3.5 - 4.0's?

Girls are pretty much the same right? Some girls just have better bodies so hitting on a 3.5 would be 'practice' till i find a good one....

Wouldnt it be wierd if i hit on a 3.5 with a bunch of 7's seeing me doing this?

thanks

*ps gotta start somewhere ;) *

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

The 1-10 scale is very subjective. For me, a 3-4 would be a pretty ugly girl. I don't think I'd want other girls to see me hitting on her. It will probably make you look like a loser.

But hey, maybe some 9.5 will come up to you and go "Hey sexy, I saw you hitting on ugly McFattycakes over there. That was so hot, take me now!"

Seems plausable....

I know what you mean. Those type of girls are good for practing your conversation skills and nothin more. Keep the flirting at a very low level because you definitely do not want to seduce this chick and have here stalkin your ass. Trust me, you can read my post about it.

It don't think it would be weird. If those 7's have anything bad to say they can shove it back to where the sun don't shine.

What's wrong with starting on the 7s?

What is the difference between hitting on a 3.5 compared to hitting on a 7?

What you want here is to learn, not to succeed with the 3.5s.

Get the drift?

Bro, you're here to learn to pick up women, not milk cows.

If you're not attracted to the girl, don't practice on her.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

You need to be treating them all the same, if you don't treat the 7s like you treat the 3s and the 3s like you treat the 7s the same exact way, girls will assume that you are either targeting one girl and that you like that girl above the other one or that you have made some sort of choice.

You definatelly don't want girls to think that you have chosen a 3.

welcome to my world
actually, i can say from experience, that the hotter the girls, the more receptive they actually will be towards approaches / conversation. the ugs and lower hbs usually put up a ***** shield because they're not used to being approached, and don't know how to react, etc.

this can be good because you could get used to being rejected more harshly, and get used to girls putting up a front...though only ugs usually do anyway.

i mean, even if you do choose to do so, no, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. don't give a **** about anyone around you...you'll begin to realize that no one will even notice. besides, if anyone does say anything harsh / rude / judgmental, it's due to their own insecurities.

and, just think of it as the fact that the ugs and hbs are no different. one was just born with better genes, it doesn't make them better, so you should treat all girls the same, and not be intimidated by hb just cause they 'look' hotter, it's not like that makes them special, they were just born that way.

either way, you're doing a great thing by trying to do pick-ups in the first place. good luck.

Dont go practising on 3-4s for the main reason your not attracted to them, you wont find much difficulty talking to them but as soon as you apply that to a 7-9 that your attracted to everything will be different. go and practise on every girl you find attractive, the best way to learn this is to jump right in at the deep end. eventually you will learn it.

Actually THAT is the place to start. Explore that. Why does a girl's physical make-up determine whether you're nervous to talk to her or not? She's a woman. They work the same way. So why the added pressure?

You're assuming things about the 9's that you perceive to be true (she's sexy under those clothes, she's very good in bed, she's confident, yada yada), while knowing nothing about her. Explore this more. Find out why you feel so exposed and vulnerable in front of a girl that YOU think is "nice looking". How is that, in and of itself, making you feel like she can see right through you?

As far as "practicing" goes; be friendly to everybody. If you want to practice having a conversation with a girl that you wouldn't have sex with, that's fine. Just don't lead her on. Have conversations with everybody, hot girls, ugly girls, guys, old people. Make it a habit. When you suddenly feel 'insecure' talking to one girl, but not another, dig within yourself to try to figure out why that is.

Trust me, a 7 won't get "turned off" by you being friendly with an ugly or heavy girl. And if she does, then she was never worth approaching to begin with.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
