"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Have any of you ever had a reading performed by a world renowned psychic? I had a reading a while back and it was pretty accurate. I am curious what your thoughts are regarding psychics? Are they mind readers or do they actually see the future?

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

i don't think the future is written

i think some 'psychics' are real good at reading people through 'cold reading'.

i think there might very well be a collective unconscious and that every human has a latent instinct which occasionally manifests as what could be termed 'pshychic' ability.

i think any person selling their psychic abilities should be whipped naked down the street.

Watch the John Edwards is the biggest douche in the universe episode of South Park. It's all cold-reading. A trick.

Download it now!

Also 9-11, where were the psychics when we needed them?

And where are the pinko commies demonstrating against Iran kidnapping them British guys, parading them around, and refusing to let the Red Cross see them?

Oh, wait, they're surrounded by an aura of bulls**t, too, just like psychics.

They were (apparently) in Iranian water where they don't belong, as opposed to Iraqi water where they also don't belong.

We know the western governments would never parade around a captive. Or execute him and allow video footage of his last moments turn up all over the net in a few days.

Having said that they should let them go.

The Iranian government released two sets of coordinates for where their own ship was, and in the first they were clearly in Iraqi waters; the second they were about 1800 yards north of the first coordinates, just over the Iranian side. Either way, it wasn't a violation that an on-site commander could easily determine. More likely, it was a planned operation after gathering information on British rules of engagements and tactics.

As for Saddam... the Iraqi government paraded him around and then let the video leak. The US government wasn't involved except for some security.

Anyway, just to boot this thread back on track... I agree with Jay Jay, but I think there isn't enough proof either way to draw a conclusion on whether there is a collective subconscious or not. Although Egon Spengler mentionned it, so it must be true.

I had a reading just for fun once. By some world renowned psychic, or so she claimed. She had in her profile she had appeared on all these shows and whatever but I decided to try it out and nothing came true. Dont believe any of it

Actually, it's a comination of cold reading, something sometimes referred to as warm/hot readings, and several other things. The reading, I believe, is largely based on the venue.

If you're at a John Edwards taping, for example, you've probably signed up / called ahead for tickets, written down things for why you're there (to be read or told later, if interesting enough), given your address, etc.

I believe that there are people who may believe that they're psychic when they're just (for whatever reason) natuarally good at reading body language or doing cold readings; there may very well be a lot of pychics who believe that they're genuine; they don't ALL seek to cheat anyone or get paid. But I feel that this is in the minority.

Too bad. I like performing "mind reading" strictly as entertainment...

The only good that I see is that when a "psychic" may tell someone to get themselves checked out by a doctor when people come to them for health issues. There are people out there so convinced that psychics are the answer that they will avoid going to the doctor until their psychic tells them to go.
