"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

All in the Family was a great TV show growing up.

The main character Archie Bunker was pretty much verbally abusive to everyone especially his wife.

If you get time and feel like watching the last part of the final episode into the "Archies Place" episode following where his wife has died it's pretty sad.

Just a heads up to not take a person like Archie as the way to treat a GOOD woman thinking you're being "Alpha".

They really don't make powerful TV shows like this anymore.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Being an elder gentleman, I remember this show. It was immensely popular in its day, it was #1 in the ratings for years back in the 70s. It was considered groundbreaking.

My impression is that it hasn't aged well, however. In other words, a lot of shows that were less popular went on to do better in syndication. Maybe that isn't surprising considering it had a lot of topical content, which made it specific to its time.

I like it but I think there were much better shows from that decade, such as Sanford and Sons, Bob Newhart, Rockford Files, and Charlie's Angels (woohoo:p)
