As a smoker (not cigarettes) i have been considering quitting for a few months now. I feel like its slowing any progress i could otherwise be having. Im posting this merely to get other opinions on smoking other than my own or my friends. Please post any thoughts u have on smoking

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Not a fan of potheads. I'm annoyed by the way they talk, they laugh, and basically the way they live. Tried pot ONE time, and it just made me very paranoid and all self conscious. A terrible experience.

Why don't you give quitting a try? You know it can't SPEED UP your progress so it can't hurt.

If you have any doubt, then its time to quit. If it doesn't work out you can just start up again.

Potheads are clowns. They're funny as hell to observe and relaxed (mainly cause they're oblivious to everything and laugh at stuff that you didn't intend to be funny).

How often do you do it? I don't think anyone should bake every day (it will definitely have a negative impact on you). I do it a max of twice a week but it probably averages once every two weeks if that. It definitely screws with my ability to socialize with new people effectively, especially if they aren't also blazed. I try to save it as an excuse to bring girls home or at the end of a party night.

I've been thinking about quitting, but I enjoy it too much. It's a way to relax and I feel that it does less damage to my body than drinking. I smoked everyday through college and maintained a 3.7. Everyone is different though. When you smoke often, you build tolerance and your brain learns to handle it differently so you seem perfectly normal to people around you, but you're actually baked. People can never tell I'm high unless I tell them.

Out of respect, I only do it after work. I never showed up to my classes baked. I did all of this afterwards when I was home and wanting to kick back and relax after a hard days work.

The way to smoke pot is if you have nothing to do that day, on a relax day... or in the end of the day a hour or two before bed. If I smoke before I need to get something done, I become completely unmotivated.

Drugs are bad.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Weed, not all but in many ways, is just like beer. The high feels like getting really drunk but better and safer, recreational use is fine, but if problems arise you probably have more issues arising to resolve rather than just cutting back the weed. There are people who say that people do drugs (probably particularly weed) to self-medicate and I can agree with that; so, if it's true you increase your self-medication, the question stands "What are you self-medicating from?"
