I am 22 and Alice is 21. I met her 3 years ago at an activity in school. We went on a date and subsequently became a couple. This is a first r/s for the both of us.
3 years down the road, we have broken up and patched up at least 3-4 times. We have done almost everything except sex.
After the second breakup i got myself another girlfriend, but it only lasted for 3months as I realized that I still have got feelings for her. By some twist of fate and some effort on my part we got back together. Shortly after that we broke up again, and then got back again.
She is college now. She left for Australia for an exchange several weeks ago, she said to give her time to think over our r/s. Not to message her at all during this period. She said to give me a reply as to whether she wanted to continue this r/s with me when she comes back. Her exchange is 4.5 months. We did message abit after she is gone. However two weeks after she left, she messaged me saying that she feels emotionally tired and that it would be best for us to let go and break up.
Since then i haven't replied her for 2 weeks (I didn't even bother to reply and confirm the breakup with her, I was just at a loss at what to say.) and have embarked on the 60 day no contact challenge. on my 15th day now
I have been doing alot for her all these while ever since i knew her, so much so that even i think i have been too much of a nice guy.
1) I always make an effort to see her every week and send her home even though she lives pretty darn far from me. (an hour?)
2) Due to some commitments these couple of years, I could only meet her once or twice a week. Even so, she still says that I am spending too much time with her. Because of her, I barely met up with my guy buddies due to the clashing of schedules. I choose to meet alice most of the time instead, because I really miss her after a long week at work.
3) She has never said "I love you" to me for a long time, while I have been sincerely saying it to her time to time (she just says she doesn't want to say "I love you" when shes not in the mood to.) She has never bought gifts for me in awhile. Just before she left she made me cheesecake, thats all.
4) She doesn't like to kiss. Its me doing the kissing most of the time, I am a very physical person. I like to kiss. She just barely responds most of the time unless i really really get her pumped up and horny.
5) we share the same group of friends, so its gonna be difficult for me not to bump into her in the long run.
6) I barely get angry with her. However, she can be moody and ignore my calls and messages for no reason for days. This can really drive me crazy, and I cannot focus on other things.
7) Lately, she has started to pick up drinking and clubbing. I am not a fan and in favor of her doing such things actually, but I try to trust her.
8) I have begun to hang out with my buddies after she left for Australia, and I am thankful that they do not blame me at all for not spending much them with them. However all my friends do say that she is very hazardous for me.
She is beautiful. I still love her very much and have invested so much into the relationship. I will be starting college in a month, and will definitely meet new people. However deep down I feel that its such a waste to have these 3 years gone down the drain. So much beautiful memories together. I am afraid that I would never find someone as good anymore. I know I probably sound like a wuss, and i would like to man up and change that. Could you Don Juans, please advice me about my situation and how to improve myself as a man?
Thank you guys!
