"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

The only way you can get over that is by doing it a lot. Many people have this and trust me, if theres a way to get my ass out of standing infront of the class, I will.

Concentrate on one person when your speaking in front of your class. Maybe look at the girl that you have crushing on you. It'll make her feel kinda special when your addressing all these people but making it known she's the one you want. .... I know you didn't ask for girl advice, but I've found that it works for me so I figured I'd share that. But even if its not a girl your concentrating on do try and focus in on one person that you feel comfortable with and act as if your talking to them.

John Alanis' Public Speaking Dilemma Solution

Hi Guys,
This little tid-bit of information I am going to Quote comes from John Alanis'(King of Let'em come to you)- Secrets of Natural Attraction. This information is for everyone whether you have public anxiety or not(+its a great way to meet girls):

"OK, now I know what you’re saying—you hate speaking in front of groups, you have no one to speak to, and no way to learn. Here’s how to overcome all of that: go to http://www.toastmasters.org/ and look for a local Toastmasters club."

"You will have ample opportunities to speak in public and get coaching from people who are really good at it. The monthly dues are minimal. And if you are looking to meet women, you will meet plenty. You may have to go to a few meetings, but Toastmasters does a very good job of helping people who are deathly scared of public speaking become very good public speakers. And once you become good (it won’t take you long), you’ll have ample opportunities to speak."

"Toastmasters provides tons of different opportunities for you to meet women. They have lots of contests, regional get-togethers, etc. and you will come in contact with lots of dynamic people. You will also meet people who are very good at speaking… observe and learn from them. You can also test various approaches, speeches, stories and jokes at Toastmasters. It’s a great place to test material."

This book my friends is up there with the best.
If you don't want to buy the book you can always search for it on the P2P, but I don't advocate that. Buy it from the source and have respect for the author.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

acutally....eye contact is crucial in public speaking anyway....you shouldn't maintain eye contact with one person the whole time....but you should shift eye contact from person to person in a class situation while saying whatever it is you have to say. This makes the exchange seem more personal for you(more comfortable) and the other person(better connection)...and also as BBX said....practice helps...there are a lot of people who have trouble with public speaking and avoid it....thats why theey're bad at public speaking....take each oppurtunity available and use it as a chance to get better and you actually will

Advice

I'm very good at public speaking [especially in class settings] and my advice would be to practice your speech outloud a few times the night before until you reach the point where you don't have to rigidly adhere to your written speech. Once you hit the point where you find yourself automatically rephrasing certain parts of the speech everytime you practice it (without reading off your paper), you know you're set. It should feel almost natural like you're having a formal conversation with someone. Hope this helps.

Your fear probably comes from the idea that you are up there all alone for the whole class to critisize you. In your mind it's you against them, you need to think of it as you leading them instead of you tryin' to get them to accept what you're saying. And really that's the way it is anyway because you get up infront of the class it's cause you're supposed to tell them something you know and they don't, they're listening to you for you to drop some knowledge on them, so just be confident that you are right, and if someone says you're wrong, it's the perfect time to show off.
