"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Well, as I said before, I've reached my 500 post limit, so I'm going to vanish. But before I do, I want to leave you with some things to think about. I've always been more of a self-help guy rather than a seduction community guy. The reason for that is because I firmly believe that when you get your life straight, the girls will come automatically with it. However, for the sake of this post I'll leave you with a little bit of both.

I've been on these forums for a couple of months now, and I constantly see this attitude of pointing fingers and blaming the world. I see this attitude of bitterness and anger. I see a lot of frustration and hopelessness. I also see a lot of guys who, no matter how much they read, will never quite get it because they are too damned proud to admit they have failed!

I have been literally spit on, pushed around, intimidated, called a chump, a *****, a liar. I have faced divorce and I have faced bankruptcy. I've lost everything that I worked so hard to build, had my kids taken from me and then given back to me. I've watched my family get torn apart by death. I watched as the people closest to me have all faced disease and sickness and then finally passed on. I've had girls walk all over me, and I've fought depression. I have faced a time when I spent my entire day on the computer and lost all my friends because I was too afraid of getting hurt anymore. I have been beat down, used, and broken and know what rock bottom feels like. I know what it's like to be lower than the carpet and still have people piling garbage on top of me.

And yet, through all of that (I'm not exaggerating one bit) I've learned one very important thing:

There are some things I can't change, so I accept them. There are some things I can change, so I change them. But whatever I do, I always remember that the life I am living today is only temporary.

That's the measure of confidence. That's the heart of a true Don Juan. If you can learn to define your happiness from the INSIDE, there's nothing that the people or life can hand you that you can't handle!

I've always said that the life I lead today is fueled by massive failure. The successs I enjoy today was born on the back of my worst fears and my most horrible nightmares. Everything that I thought was good was taken from me, but I learned how to find NEW good. I learned not to stay in one place for too long or life will eat me up.

So, I say to you who are here for self-improvement. I say to you who came here broken and beat down that there is always hope!

I know that stuff sounds corny. I know that it sounds pop culture, but I don't care. I am where I am today because I remember where I was yesterday and became a better person for it.

If you want to attract women, then learn to attract yourself!

If you want to be a "man", then take action!

If you want to be a pick up artist, then pick yourself up and move on!

Women are fickle, funny, and impatient creatures. They don't know what they want. So sitting around discussing what they want is pointless.

The most important thing for you to do is take control of your life! BECOME A LEADER. If you want to know what women want, then realize they don't know!

That's why your focus should be to just DO! And by doing something, you will gain a following. By taking action, getting off your computer and fixing your life, you will become natural and irresistable!

I've received criticism on this site, and yet I remain unaffected. Why? Because I've learned how to be steady, I've learned how to face my insecurities, and I've learned to assert what I believe with no apologies.

Get a plan.

Take time for youself.

Figure out what YOU want, and then go for it.

If you know what you are worth, then go get it! Don't sit around complaining about the things you can't change (like "does size matter?"). Accept it! Take what you are given and turn it into something greater than yourself!

Stop worrying about what she thinks of you. she'll love you for who you are. If she doesn't, then she is not for you. You are the prize! Don't be afraid of who you are. Everybody is different and everybody has needs.

Don't apologize for yourself. Live your life dammit!

It took me a LONG time to get that attitude. It took a lot of heartache, pain, depression, and absolute desperation to finally realize that I'm alive to live my life. Not sit around and rot. Not sit around and second guess what other people want. I've learned to be courteous and kind, but also self-confident and strong. And any woman will be ecstatic to have a man in their life who knows how to be both heaven and hell. Who knows how to be both a nice guy and a jerk.

Don't worry about what you are going to say to her. Just say it! You'll figure it out when you are standing in front of her!

Don't worry about what you are going to do. Just do it! When you are put into the game, you are going to know what to do!

It's alright to be afraid. Just don't let it stop you.

It's alright to be insecure. Just don't let it define you.

Get up, get moving, and take control.

Goodbye sosuave. I hope that the stuff I've said has affected someone here, and if you see me out there living my life, walk up and say hi.

Until then, keep it up! You're here because you want to change, which puts you a mark above the rest. I don't know you, but I know people and people are capable of all sorts of things.

Good luck.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Dear Vypros,

Take care buddy, hope life gives you what you are looking to gain.

Random thought, but why not stick around and help some of the young tater tots that seem to be flocking the forums as of late?

Keep it real, live life, love life, and rock on.

(Nice post by the way!)

The reason for that is because I firmly believe that when you get your life straight, the girls will come automatically with it.
You can believe it as firmly as you like. The facts -- and thousands of amatuer "chess masters" (firmly in control of their lives) and related types -- speak otherwise. Well... "the girls" may come, yes, but I've got a feeling they're not exactly gonna be the kind of girls that guys on THIS board are particularly interested in.

You do? I actually see endless optimism, with guys fervently affirming that ANY guy can get ANY chick, no matter how he looks, no matter how he dresses, no matter how much money he's got, no matter how his body looks.

And I also see a lot journals and FRs openly admit failure, so I don't know where this "pride" thing is keeping people from admitting the truth -- perhaps the only place is in YOUR posts.

I have been literally spit on, pushed around, intimidated, called a chump, a *****, a liar. I have faced divorce and I have faced bankruptcy. I've lost everything that I worked so hard to build, had my kids taken from me and then given back to me. I've watched my family get torn apart by death. Call me a cynical bastard, but it seems like EVERY self-help writer has a hard luck story to tell.

The successs I enjoy today was born on the back of my worst fears and my most horrible nightmares.
The thing is, I asked you to list your successes, and when I read them, honestly, I thought that you had only enjoyed a paltry amount of success. Certainly nothing to be bragging about and nothing on which to be claiming that you have unearthed the meaning of life.

As for the "get out there and DO it" advice, that's advice well worth giving and advice well worth hearing. But it's good advice on its own. It doesn't need all that hyperbole preceding it.

Anyway, adios vypros. I can't say I'll be sad to see the back of you.

Sounds like you had gone AFC and married a oneitis hor and paid the price for it?

So, what success do you enjoy today that makes up for that? Do you have a young, hot sugarmama that returns everything that you lost sexually, emotionally and financially from your ex-wife?

Almost a year and 1200 posts here and you STILL are stuck in playing the blame game.

By the sounds of things, a year from now it will be almost 2500 posts, 2 years and no growth.

Some people never learn to take responsibility for their own choices and mistakes in life.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I agree. A farewell post without negging, nagging, b1tching (although with some bragging ;) ). Sounds like the essence of a DJ to me.
