Okay, So I am brand new here on this message forum... I was trying to recall an email I received a long time ago, from the Sosuave newsletter. I have searched high and low for this, but was not able to find it anywhere.

The topic of it was on reading a girl's palm, and the specific part I was looking for, was something to do with (while yiu are reading the girl's palm), telling her something about a "sexual side" that she has, or something, and that "that will just be our little secret"...

Does anyone have amy idea about this, or where I could find it, it seems so important to me. Please help me out here, if you can. Thank you in advance

It should be somewhere in the DJ Bible because I remember reading some things like that in there. But the site was revamped a couple of times so a lot of the old posts are lost, not sure if they’re still around.

Tbh bro, I find that talking about ‘dreams’ and ‘their meanings’ are so much more effective. The whole touchy-felt thing with ‘palm reading’ is just too much for some girls because they’ll feel it’s disingenuous. But all that spiritual hocus pocus crap they just LOVE. Even the ones who don’t believe in horoscopes or astrology still love that ****. That’s honestly you’re best bet now that I think about it. Astrology is much more ‘in’ than everything else right now, so get to know your zodiac sign or whatever lol and be prepared to talk about it. Don’t push it too hard because then they’ll think you’re a kook, but try and wiggle in astrology in their somehow during a lapse of silence and try to say something like “hey I know this is random, but do you kinda believe in astrology? I know a lot of people thinks it’s bull**** but I’m just wondering” and then go from there lol. Chicks are a lot more spiritual than guys are, even if they’re atheist/agnostic lol which I find strange but whatevs. They eat that stuff up. Even if some of them don’t believe in it, their ears will perk up anyway and they will start to get into it (in the moment, at least) if their friends are too lol

It's not every day that I'm in agreement with @ImTheDoubleGreatest! but hear this. The man just handed you a winning lottery ticket. Most people do not find sage advice like this unless they dig for a while. You got it on your first posting and it's 100% on the money.

Just to show you how much of a slime I was. Back when I lived in Florida, the DMV would issue license tags that were due on your birth month. Although I never hit on women I worked with, there were loads of cute women in the office park. More than once, I'd take a sneak peak at their license tag. If it was, let's say... October, I knew that there was a 75% chance that they would be a Libra. And then... when the opportunity arose... I'd work my (so-called) "magic."
Me:"Ya know...? I've never been into all that new agey stuff, but I think there's something to astrology." There's something.... well... you remind me of the best sign of the zodiac. I bet that you are a Libra."
3 out of every four times, my "insight" was correct.

Lol, that's pretty funny. Of course, you're violating the "no girls you work with" rule, but I don't strictly believe in that anyway (depends on the situation).

I have no doubt this sort of supernatural stuff works, but I just can't use it. I don't believe in any of it, nor do I have even the slightest interest in it, so it would be just too incongruent for me.

I'm the odd man here on sosuave, because I actually do wonder about astrology to some degree. I used to believe that the 'traits' per sign were so ambiguous that they could fit any sign... if we 'wanted' them to. And I'll at least attempt to save face by saying that I never go for the daily horoscope readings.

At one time I thought that horoscopes that predicted the future were complete garbage, but that the personality descriptions were somewhat accurate. I didn't think this had anything to do with the stars, but maybe it had something to do with the time of year you were born, and what the seasons were like when you reached certain developmental milestones, or some awareness of the seasons early in your life. But now I'm inclined to believe it's just vaguely written nonsense, and anything that hits is a coincidence.

I did look up my birthday on that site, I'd say it might have been about 50%. Some of the things were spot on. But others were way off.
