"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Someone (cant remember whcih thread now) said he felt you needed to be good looking to have success in online dating sites. Which is really funny because I used to use them a lot and my rating is only between 7 and 8.5 depending on which pictures I use. I sent generic emails from an account and got only a few responses. Then I created some fairly good emails and sent only 10-15 last night, already by this morning around a 1/3 of them had responded. I'll include a couple of example responses. All of the emails were generic, and I only tweaked 2-3 lines in each email to customize it.

"Good morning Xa****,

My name is ************* and you were right--your e-mail was more than a breath of fresh air. Although, my initial reaction to your e-mail was, "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!" I have always been attracted to you as well as your profile, but was waaaaaaaaay too shy to drop you a line or even show you I was interested. I passed by your profile many times, but to be honest with you... I have never dated a white guy before, but always wanted to. You made my week! I would love to meet up with you. Starbucks? A mall? Anywhere. You come up with the time and place.

So where do you live int he city? Where are you originally from? I have lots of questions for you so I will attempt to get you on yahoo. My yahoo name is: ***********

Take care,"
******"

That one was pretty good. If I really lived in that city I would follow up with her.

This one below I would not follow up on. The great thing about my email is it opened up
the door for self-disclosure. Sometimes the nuts are better at hiding it than this of course.

"Hey Xa****,

I Really Liked Yer E-mail, Finally, A Guy That Comes Off With Some Sense! You Were Totally Right In Yer E-mail. I'm Tired O' Guys Talkin' Sex All The Time. I Want A Guy That Can Reach Me, Know What I Mean? Anyway, M'Story Is... I'm Still Legally Married To A Man That Left Me For Another Woman Six Years Ago, A Cokehead At That. I'm The Mum O' A Two And A Half Year Old Son (His Father Has Custody O' Him), I'm Bipolar And I'm A Smoker. If You Can Handle All This And Are Still Interested, Well Then, We Might Have Somethin' Here. I Love To Shoot Pool And Bowl, Pretty Much Up For Anythin' The Guy Would Be Up For. I'm Loyal, Lovin' & Carin'. I'm Scotswoman (Scots Gaelic To Be Exact) But Everybody Hears The Southern Draw On Me, Thanks To M'Virginian Dad. Well, This Aboot Says It For Me For Now, Again, If You're Still Interested After Readin' All This, Get Back To Me. If I Don't Hear From You Again, I'll Know You Weren't Interested. Really Hope To Hear From You Again Soon...

(Hug & Muah!),

- ***** :)

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Just a bit of advice for 'ya; with the popularity rapidly growing from invitation from their girlfriends, women are sharing their responses from guys with their girlfriends who are also on-line. Be careful that you don't send form letters to potential friends; word can get around, and quickly!

Damm on that second email.

I personally think the best experiment to see how chicks are online is to create the EXACT same profile word for word, BUT have different pics for each one. One pic have an average or ugly lookin guy and the other one have a good looking guy. Of course have them in diff states so a chick doesnt see both and realize its fake.

I seem to have a 5 - 6 rating on hotornot on my pics and have not had much success with internet sarging.

But, I'd be curious to try what you wrote in your generic emails to see if I get the same results. I'd be a bit of an ugly dude as far as online sarging is concerned, so it would be intersting to compare.

People have critiqued my online pics saying it has a lousy background, cheesy salesman smile, as other people have requested for me to post my pic, I'll post it later on this thread.

Ya you don't need to be good looking, only to have good pictures that show your best side.

I think it's a good idea to have some wearing classy clothes, some of you on the beach with a couple of girls in flip flops, and some of you with buddies and girls at clubs. If a site allows multiple pics be sure to use several. If nothing else go to the local ****s sporting goods and get pics of you indoor rock climbing and make another one of you playing a guitar to some chick(s).
I haven't really "tested" exactly, but I think it's a good idea to have classy pics, casual pics, pics with hotties, and pics with friends that show you guys having fun together. Since women value friendships, they tend to have respect for a guy that has these.

The better looking the pic on profile the less emails out of the blue I seem to get if it goes past 9.0. The women are too intimidated to write, but will respond when the guy in question emails. On hotornot or sites designed mostly to rate pics it is different than dating sites, in my experience. There is also a lot fo spammers on certain sites.

Optimal random emails come from pics in the 6.5-8.o range. Optimal responses come in the 6.5-9.5 looks range. ANy guy can become a 6.5 by being well groomed, selecting a pic that doesn't make him seem too short (nix extra headspace and pics of you next to a guy who is 7'), and showing the dichotomy of casual and classy. Of course, you can convey any other identity that works for you, I'm just throwing out an example here. If you're an artist, or a badboy, or whatever seductive type best fits you, then by all means don't act like someone else.

The email I sent I don't remember off the top of my head, basically something like a catchy title, then I told them that I was drawn to them for some reason, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I threw out something about them that might have done it. I made a humerous comment about the kind of crap they probably get every day. I challenged them to live up to the profile and pictures. I told them just a little bit about myself, but I didn't brag. Finally, I told them I would be interested in getting to know them better.

This is what my friend said David M's system is all about, so I just based my stuff on what I've been told about him since he seems to have done a lot of testing.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
