Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Hey guys,

man it has been a long time since I've posted here. I've visited every once in a while just to see what things are like around here, but anyway, allow me to cut to the chase.

Part I
In the end, falling deeply in love and dealing with oneitis is the biggest measure of a true man's inner strength. It's easy to keep your self-esteem high and act like a player when you've got the hearts of multiple women in your pocket. What's tough is keeping your head level and adhering to your principles when that special someone who has a world of influence over your emotions is causing you heartache.

AFC's and normal guys act like chumps under oneitis because they let the emotions they feel control them. A true man with enough inner strength will not succumb to those feelings.

Part II

It's been a little while now since I began to digress from the DJ way of thinking prevalent here on SS. I no longer believe in "game". The thought of behaving in a certain way in order to capitalize on the attraction of women is beyond me now. I now believe in total, inner honesty, with that honesty allowing one to be completely open and honest with others, in turn attracting the women who are compatible with the traits they exude. In other words, people just "connect". You could say I've become an absolute proponent of "inner game".

I'm in my freshman year of college, but it's like I'm a completely different person than I was one year ago, and even more change has taken place than the growth I experienced throughout my high school FR thread.

In high school, I was known as the kid who was smart but lazy as fwck. I had no idea what I wanted to do in life.

Oh, how things are different now.

None of the following things I am about to share are to brag or boost my self-esteem in any way. I'd have no reason to do that. Rather, it's to illustrate just who I've become and how I've changed:

I know exactly what I want to do with my entire life. I will graduate college in 3 years, with a dual degree, three minors, and a certificate in entrepreneurial studies. I'm currently taking 24 credit hours in order to do this (taking 12 hours qualifies you as a full-time student). I'm a scholarship athlete who's starting freshman year. I study on the way to practice, on the way back from practice, on the way to competitions, during the 15 minutes I have between classes, and every weekend night while everyone I know is hanging out or getting wasted. I'm not deficient socially though; I can honestly and objectively say that I'm one of the most popular guys on the team. I chat easily with anyone in my classes and would be making friends with a lot of them if I only had time to hang out. I'm a member of student government, I cook all of my meals, I eat insanely healthy, I workout four times a week, sometimes in the morning before classes, I do yoga four times a week, I make sure I sleep 9 hours every night, I volunteer every weekend, I donate platelets every weekend, and I have an online job as an independent contractor. As my roommate said, I don't do anything except study, practice, work out, do yoga, eat, and sleep. Every day I feel the pain of depriving myself of leisure, comfort, and physical needs. Every night I go to bed completely exhausted, but every morning I wake up ready to fight another day. Every time I question why I suffer all of these sacrifices, and I tell myself that this is what I chose. Every day I push myself because I have a mission.

I fwcked up the first 18 years of my life. I was smart but d!cked around in school. I was talented in my sport but wasted time playing video games instead of training. People liked me but I was too much of a pu$$y obsessed with popularity that I failed to make great friendships with people in high school. There were a few, really great girls who were into me but I was so much of a cwnt that I pushed all of them away by being a huge pu$$.

The weakness of my past may drive me, but I am not motivated by pain. I will attend a top medical school after graduating here and become a neurosurgeon. I will save lives and make half a million a year in a high-pressure job that takes huge amounts of guts on a daily basis. I will live frugally and invest my money. Once I have a significant amount, I will start by recognizing those who have been important to me--my coaches and my friends. I will start businesses. I will open and operate in my own hospital. I will keep investing until I have the financial power to make an impact on the world and help those in needs. I will do everything I can to preserve the beauty of humanity--all of those incredible connections we call human relationships, I will dedicate myself to ensuring that everyone else will be able to enjoy those good times with people close to them, without violence, hunger, and child abuse scarring lives from the beginning. I might go into politics later on.

In short, the power to change the world is what I want the most.

I am nothing. The impact I have may be something. When I feel weak, I think of a person I genuinely hate and ask myself if I would die for him. If the answer is no, then my heart is not in the right place.

When I talk to someone, I picture myself in their shoes and really try to understand them. I believe there's a little bit of something in everyone, and the battle between good and evil is within, with evil being weakness, and good being strength. I believe everyone is the same on the innermost level, with predispositions, environmental factors and personal experiences causing variations in tendencies and behavior.

You could say I'm under oneitis right now. There's a girl who means the world to me emotionally, who could control my feelings on a whim. But I can't let anything get in the way of my visions, not even her. I hardly ever see her, maybe less than once a week. I would give up seeing her forever without hesitation if it were necessary for my goals. It would tear me apart emotionally, but what I need to do relies on rational decision-making, which needs to take place free of emotion. When I think of my goals and this girl, I don't think about her. I don't do what I do because of her. I do what I do so that people like her, and people like me, will have better lives. It doesn't matter to me that all of the other people in the world are strangers to me; we are all the same on the deepest level, so I want to fight for the right of everyone to be able to share those beautiful human relationships, of all kinds.

Call me crazy, call me a foolish idealist. It seems like all of the grown-ups I know have been left jaded and cynical by the "real world" out there. I will not slip into despair. I believe in the inner strength present within everyone.

Is it worth sacrificing or straining my own personal relationships in order to protect everyone else's? Maybe, yes.

Thank you SS, because you have been a catalyst in a previous stage of my development to become who I am now. Regardless of whether or not I believe in "game", I can't deny the fact that you made me understand how the female mind works, and some important truths about male-female dynamics.

When I talk to girls now, I'm not thinking about "gaming" them. I truly try to connect with them on a person-to-person level, and if I am attracted, I make sure to express my interest and follow up. Those who are interested will reciprocate, and those who are less interested will not be as willing. It has nothing to do with the best "method". I know I'm a real man now, and it's like this newfound instinct I have is guiding me and telling me what to do. I appreciate everyone and every moment I spend with anyone.

The girl I am now smitten with was from the high school days. I called her "Mel K" in my ol' high school FR thread. She was interested in me, I was too much of a b!tch to reciprocate interest, she got sick of waiting around. When I first kissed her a few weeks ago, words gushed out of my mouth before I had a chance to think: "This is something I regret from high school." Her reply was just as quick: "You should." The rest of that day involved some of the saddest emotions I have felt. All of the times we could have had together, if only I weren't such a useless piece of sh!t back then. I should have been happy, delighted to kiss a girl I was crazy about, but instead I was borderline depressed for about two days.

Thank you SS. Goodbye. If I return, it will not be to seek advise. It will be to help others.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I tend to agree with what you're saying here. I'm not sure I believe in "game" either. Obviously there are certain things you don't want to do (like come off as desperate, etc..)

Bottom line, she's either going to be attracted to you or not. If she's not, there aren't a lot of tips or tricks that you can do to make her. You can fool a young or naive girl into sleeping with you, short term, but beyond that she has to buy into who you really are. That's why I think the best parts of this site are the self improvement bits. Be a guy of value, and know that you are a guy of value. Best of luck.

We have very similar goals.

But its easy to tell that you are one of these guys that talk a lot and will achieve little. Also your paragraph on girls was pitiful!

Dont worry you will forget about all of these ideas when you fall in love with a new girl.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Ahhh.... good to see he knows it all now, and he hasn't even finished college yet.

Pretty words on a page, but anyone can do that. Translating it into action is the hard part.

I agree with Ease.

His part on girls is worrying. I suspect he'll come crawling back after the first girl he falls for breaks his heart...

I'm back b1tches :D

Had to go back and dig up my old sh1t...and wow. This was just a year and a half ago, and man was I going batsh1t insane.

In case anyone was wondering, the huge amount of pressure and isolation I put on myself, which was basically work or be preparing to work 24/7, made me collapse. A steady, downward spiral that led to a slew of personal problems manifesting. My mental health went to absolute sh1t, and I broke down. I'm still slowly recovering from that mess...

I don't really know WTF I was saying about girls in the beginning...hahaha

E: forgot everything on this site is censored lol

Sure, we want access to women by virtue of being hot and skilled, but we can't have the hearts of multiple women in our pockets - they will not love us unconditionally if we are with other women. Their love will fade or turn to hate if they have serious feelings for us. Plus, we can only have a true emotional bond with one woman at a time unless we are willing to really hurt them.

Not always true. Sure, you shouldn't fall for a random girl who walked by, but if you are intimate with a hot enough woman long enough, you will fall in love. Julius Caesar had oneitis over Cleopatra. She was probably hotter than most of our girlfriends. Face it, we'll never be a 10, so we'll never have access to the very hottest women like Heather Locklear's daughter. We'll fall somewhere between where we are and the guy she's banging. That's a big gamut. You might settle for a 7, but if you improve yourself, you improve both the woman who adores you (your minimum potential) and the woman you can get to fall for you for a limited time (your maximum potential). Same thing with cars. As cars get safer, we drive faster and take more risks, leading to just as many crashes - the acceptable amount. So on the contrary, I would say that a true man is made BY broken hearts versus being immune to them.

“The 22 Rules That Turned Me From Invisible to Irresistible With Women… Starting Tonight”

You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.

Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.

These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.

Game is merely a coping construct in order to deal with a world gone insane (in terms of male/female relationships).

It is a necessary evil in the sense that it is a reflection of a very sad state of affairs, a time in human history like no other, where men have allowed women to rule the world in many ways. The problem is that the current rulers are bat-sh!t insane, or perhaps better stated, delusional. I firmly believe that women as a whole have become entirely delusional, down to the last one, thanks to the influence of the mass media. It should have been us men infuencing them properly for they are by nature without internal compass. There is literally nothing there, so they look to outside sources to attain substance. Oprah and Cosmo provided that substance and definition, while all along we men should have been providing that. No matter what, it cannot come from within for the circuitry simply isn't there.

In its best form, game should be simply a set of training wheels that allow a man to gain traction, get up to speed and then eject those training wheels.

I believe Pook is a prime example of that. He is iconic for pioneering coping skills in order to circumvent the traps and mechanisms that have been enslaving men for the past 40 years, and suddenly it was simply time for him to go. His best legacy is that he outgrew this place, because he worked very hard to become an actualized man to himself first. He firmly set his wheels on that track and therefore did not need this place anymore.

It is my hope that this site will serve not only to teach men how to counter the madness that is out there and deal with women, but also to launch men into a mindset where they believe that they can effect change in this world. We are Kings who have abdicated our thrones. Technically, our fathers did that, and we are either going to sit around like pvssies whining about how hard it is to "attract women" or we are going to take back OUR world and define it ourselves.

We have issues with what we now call "oneitis" because women have lost all respect for men and have become entirely independent. Falling in love has now become an almost certain death knell for men, both emotionally and financially.

"Atom Smasher, you are rambling. Please take take your medicine and a nice nap."

I agree, LOL. I will close by saying that there seems to me to be two different types of game. One is the dancing monkey type, where men try to learn techniques to get women to attract them. The other is the inner game type, where men try to learn to live for themselves and better themselves as men, therby becoming more attractive naturally. I think it could be said that the former is the set of training wheels, while the latter is an investment in oneself which lasts forever. An oversimplification, to be sure, but if I'm going to "game" my aim is not to score with girls but rather to become a man that I am happy with. If I am "attracted" to myself, in a manner of speaking (proud of the job I'm doing forging myself into a man of character), then my theory is that women will follow as a decoration on the cake. But I will always be the cake.

Homer: "Mmmmmm... cake......."

The hallucinations are setting in. Time for that nap. My profile shows that as of last Thursday I'm pushing "double nickels" so I'd best rest up for shuffleboard tonight. ;)

After being here for many years filled with various experiences with many women of all different stripes, and dealing with several oneitis experiences, it is now plainly evident to me that the man who makes women his focus and passion is destined to be forever unhappy. Such a man will never be attractive because he NEEDS validation from the opposite sex always.

The vast majority of women have nothing to offer but sexual gratification, and even that gets old after a while. Forge your own path and be an independent man with or without women - I believe this is where true happiness lies.
