"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Seems like there's a lot of prom questions floating around here, I have a quick one I want to discuss.

Some of my friends have been getting on my case about HOW I asked my date to prom. They think you should do something elaborate, like make a huge sign and put it in one of her classes. Or buy some flowers and put a note in them, and have it delivered to her class.

When I asked my date to the prom I just asked her directly. I pulled her away from her friends, had a little convo w/ her and asked her about who she was going to prom with. She said no one yet so I asked her and she gladly said yes. :D

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not regretting the way I asked her or anything. I always prefer going with the direct approach in these kinds of situations.

What I want to know is, how many of you guys asked girls to the prom in a direct fashion, or did you do it in an indirect way?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Direct fashion.

The big elaborate ways can be clever and will often work, but are pretty much useless I think. Waste of time, money, whatever.

Yea some guy like got a huge band and stuff and make this huge glow in the dark sign set up on metal poles outside her house. Around 3:00 AM they started playing "kiss me" and then she woke up and he asked her, but he screamed it like 10 times before he used the mic and she heard him lol.

Then her dad came out and chased them away lmao

I heard that she said yes, but the next day said she couldn't go because she had another date, but didn't wanna say no in front of his friends. I say go with the old fashioned approach.

That's pretty elaborate. A friend of mine (an AFC friend, btw) spent $125 on a ring and gave it to her, and then took her to the movies and paid for an ad in the movie theater to ask her. It costed around $150 total. Isn't that crazy? He spent $150 just to ask her!!

I talked to this girl about it and she does not sound that thrilled at all about going to the prom with him, but she just couldn't say no! I really feel bad for my friend ..
